To my mind , it´s a good thing to watch movies in english ( with subtitle in french , of course ) because our french accent is unfortunately often bad :(

The probleme about movies in english with substitle, is that you have the tentation to read the subtitles and not to listen the dialogs.
And in conclusion it doesn´t serve to nothing

I want to explain to you that, even if english is not my mother tongue and even if I´m only fluent in french, I make less mistakes than a lot of those american kiddies who surf on the web. :ok:
They write with the US equivalent of " langage SMS".

But, as my name is VIOLENTsato, I write my point of view with a lot of violence and the 5 letter words that are forbidden by all those catholic associations ! ( and I talk with a LA nigga accent)

I think that if you want to learn english, it´s easier to begin with american english ! You just have to shoot something, and you can be sure it has a sense in american english!

For example :
- Oaaarya ? ( =means " how are you ? ")
- Wadaba ? ( =means " what did you buy ? ")

It´s so easy that even an animal could learn to talk american english !

Sorry ViolentSato, but " I´m not really good in maths is wrong", it stands for " I´m not really good AT maths", and you have to use it with all the school subjects ( English, Spanish, Physics...)

American Young English, is called " slang" as for exemple:
" Do you want to go to Paris?"
devient :" Da ya wanna go to Paris?"

D´ailleurs il existe un dictionnaire du slang, si vous avez l´occasion de jeter un oeil dedans, c´est à mourir de rire^^

Thank you so much ViolentSato. As far as I´m concerned, I prefer watching movies in English and without any subtitle, because I find difficulty in focusing myself on the film itself.

And what about you ViolentSato??

Jawohl, herr Vulk1 ! No more japanese on this topic, i promise it !

I like to watch movies in English, because I can enjoy a lot more the acting than when it´s dubbed in french, but I´m a bit lazy and I need subtitles.

Long time ago, I watched a Simpson´s episode in the USA ( when Homer go back to university) and, as I wasn´t understanding everything, I didn´t laughted at the same moments than when I saw it in french later.

So, when I go to the cinema, I dont want to take any risk and I read the subtitles, because I don´t want to pay for another place to hear again the parts that I didn´t undertood the first time !
