Je dois traduire un texte d´anglais, mais il y a bcp de choses que je ne comprend pas bien voir meme pas du tout lol.

It was the summer that men first walked on the moon. I was very young back then, but I didn´t believe there would ever be a future. I wanted to live dangerously, to push myself as far as I could go, and then see what happened to me when I got there. As it turned out, I did not make it. Little by little, I saw my money dwindle to zero; Ilost my apartment ; I wound up living in the streets. If not for a girl named Kitty Wu, I probably would have starved to death. I had met her by chance only a short time before, but eventually I came to see that chance as a form of readiness, a way of s.aving myself through the minds of others. That was the first part. From then on, strange things happened to me. I took the job with the old man in the wheelchair. I found out who my father was. I walked acros$ the desert from Utah to California. That was a long time ago, of course, but I remember th ose days as weil, I remember them as the beginning of my life.

c´était l´été que les premiers hommes ont marcher sur la lune. J´étais tres jeune avant alors, mais je ne craoyais pas qu´il y aurait un future ( enfin, fé une phrase plus français ) . j´ai voulu vivre dangereusement, de me pousser aussi loin que je pourrais aller, et ainsi voir ce qu´il se passerait pour moi que je serais la. " As it turned out, I did not make it" . Petit a petit, je voyait mon argent tomber a zero ( sinon, tu peut dire, : petit a petit, je appauvrissait.... ) . je " wound up " vivre ds la rue.....

bon voila, j´ai commencer, ms j´ai plus d´heure d´internet, en +, je commence a avoir du mal a traduire comme tu peux le voir, ms bon, essaie de comprendre la suite,
