Half-Life 2 Now Slips in USA?

This isan´t official, we´ve received no word on the matter what-so-ever. But, in my inbox, I got an email telling me that my pre-order of Half-Life 2 has been pushed back to November 19th. Here is the copy of the email.
Old Release Date - 9/30/2003
New Release Date - 11/19/2003

Update: After checking several retailer webpages, and online distributers today, it has come to my attention that almost all retailers are now giving the same date. November 19th, 2003. Some sites that I have checked include, IGN, EBGames, GameStop and others.

We´ll keep you updated on this situation to our best ability.

Half-Life 2 Slips In Europe?

According to a webpage based in Europe, the release date for Half-Life 2 has infact been changed. Several UK retailers are sending out letters to those who pre-ordered the game, informing them of the change of date, and letting them know that their orders are still active. Read an example of one here:
" As you may already be aware, the UK release date for ´Half-Life 2´ has changed to Nov 2003. Please don´t worry, your order is still ´live´ and will be despatched to you on the day prior to the revised release date, via your chosen method of shipping, unless you advise us to the contrary."
Now I´m not sure if this will affect anyone State side, and I can honestly say that I don´t think it will. It is sad to see Valve is not able to make it´s dates.
