MAN OR MACHINE? Garbage singer Shirley Manson has landed a permanent role on popular telly show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

AdvertisementGarbage singer Shirley Manson is pursuing a full-time acting career after landing a regular role on the Terminator television series.
The feisty Scottish performer will appear in the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, playing the CEO of Cyberdyne - a "cutting-edge high-tech company".
Manson has a solo album due later this year, including work with Beck, Jack White and Billy Corgan.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles, an offshoot of the popular film trilogy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, screens on TV2.
