" The entire thread is focus on the idea that women were potrayed in a lesser way. My stance is people only see what they want see and be paranoid about it. The protagonist of the story (A male) have been portrayed to have an IQ less than a duck except when he's in combat sitiuations, the SHs crew vice-captain (Technically) have been considerred slow and the third strong guy in the crew have been shown to be completely incompetent when women are involve even if the life of his crewmates depend on it. Also, the most timid crew member is a male.
The most spirited stories in the manga have centered around women. Nami's inner strength has a child, Robin's endurance, Vivi's bravery, maturity and leadership, Otohimie's service to her race, Shiraoshi's courage.
Who cares about all that stuff, when we can focus on more important things like Nami's breast band or if Robin likes General or not. "
