Tokyo - Eiichiro Oda, author of the hit manga 'One Piece' has dropped all his activities on doctors order. The famous writer has been making long hours and getting little sleep. It's rumored that he has been suffering from a burn-out and that his current work schedule pushed him over the edge.
Sources inside WSJ report that the graphic novel artist will be out of the running for at least 3 weeks. Producers of the long running story One Piece are discussing how to solve this problem and are even considering to use other mangaka to finish the concept drafts that Oda made in advance, so that they at least can keep publishing the manga in the weeks of Oda's absence. It's still unknown how serious this condition is but it's expected that WSJ will give an update on the entire situation soon.
