Voila, bonne lecture
Fast Travel is a mechanic in Dragon's Dogma used to travel from point A to point B, assuming the place one is traveling to has already been visited on foot.
Fast travel is affected by time, so traveling too far can make you appear in the location at night. Fast traveling somewhere outside of a safe area at night is not recommended.
To use fast travel, you need a ferrystone and a portcrystal that the player places in a location on the ground. The ferrystone opens a portal to the rift, allowing the player to choose between Gran Soren and any previously placed portcrystals to be teleported to.
Ferrystones are one-time use items, so use carefully. However, portcrystals can be picked up and placed again.
Ferrystone is an item available in Dragon's Dogma.
DescriptionEdit
Ferrystones are tools which can be used to transport the player and their party of pawns to either the primary portcrystal in Gran Soren, or any player-placed portcrystal in Gransys instantly.
LocationEdit
Ferrystones spawn in the center of the primary portcrystal in Gran Soren outside the pawn guild, however the respawn rate is rather lengthy. They are also available for purchase from Fournival or the Black Cat shop.
Portcrystal is an item available in Dragon's Dogma.
DescriptionEdit
Portcrystals are an item used to add a location you can teleport to via a ferrystone. Portcrystals can be picked up and set down whenever one wishes to relocate it.
The Arisen can find their first portcrystal at the end of the Griffin's Bane quest. In the room for your final encounter with the Griffin of this quest, there will be a shining blue crystal on the other side near the treasure, this is a portcrystal. It is ill-advised to have the scrivener at the Black Cat duplicate it as it will not function properly and could only be used as some sort of bad joke as a gift to somebody's pawn, thereby wasting 300,000 gold making an item that won't function.
