Dans la Doc de Black&, les concepteurs parlaient d´un lien pour aller vers une galerie des créatures de joueurs du monde entier. Pourtant j´ai eu beau explorer le site officiel du jeu en tout sens je ne l´ai jamais trouvé...quelqu´un sait-il où ces pages se trouveraient?

Je vais essayer de répondre mais je suis peut etre a coté de la plaque mais bon.
Il y avait une caverne des créatures dans l´ancien design de bwgame, mais ce que l´on peut voir maintenant c´est le nouveau design, donc je crois que c´est créatues ont tout simplement été ejecté du nouveau site.

Evincar --> Je crois que tu as raison, j´ai aussi remarqué que la refonte du site avait entrainé la suppression de qques rubriques dont certainement celle-la...:-(

. Creature Homepages

Black & White allows you to publish webpages containing all the information about your Creature. This information is continuously updated by the game and stored on your local machine.

You can upload your pages for other people to view by using the CreatureUpload.exe application. These Creature pages are hosted as part of the bwgame Creature Page hosting service (www.bwGame.com) and community pages.

There is an external application called "CreatureUpload.exe" (the default directory for this will be c:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\Black & White\), which allows you to upload your Creature info..

To use this service, you MUST be registered at www.bwgame.com (and therefore have a username and user password). In addition, you must have played at least once over the Internet or entered your registration details into the "over the Internet user details" dialog box in Black & White. You MUST also have a Creature.

After successfully uploading you can view your Creature page at:

http://www.YOURREGISTRATIONNAME.bwcreatures.com
or http://www.bwcreatures.com/YOURREGISTRATIONNAME

Where YOURREGISTRATIONNAME is the name you chose when registering online.

The images and information about your Creature are also stored on your hard disk. You can access this information by opening the "html directory" in your profile directory (.\Profiles\Myregistrationname\html) . This html page is template based, so you may change it. This does not change your Creature data however.

It is a normal HTML file with same special keywords which gets parsed whilst creating the Creature html file. So anybody with basic HTML skills can create their own template file.

Please note: You cannot upload this offline version to the bwgame Creature pages.
If you want to upload the offline generated Creature HTML page to your own webpages, using the default/shipped template file, you may have to change the path of the images. This can be done at the top of the Creatures html page (source of file).
