Jets | Source says done deal, Tomlinson headed to New York

Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune, reports free-agent RB LaDainian Tomlinson (Chargers), according to three people with knowledge of the process, has decided to join the New York Jets. "It's 100 percent," one source said. "Done deal." The deal is expected to be announced Sunday, March 14, or Monday, March 15. One source cautioned late Saturday, March 13, that a deal has not been officially made, but other sources said Sunday that Tomlinson has let people know he is headed to New York.
