Activision has issued a press release regarding the upcoming release of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game. The video game will let the gamer pick from the largest amount of playable Transformers (Autobots and Decepticons) yet, with unique environments spread around the world (Cairo and Shanghai are two examples given). The press release also confirms that players will be able to go online for all-new multiplayer modes. The game, which will be released on the Microsoft XBox 360, Sony Playstation 3, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo Wii, and PC platforms, is currently under development by several different studios. Other versions of a Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen game are being developed as well, with two titles being developed for the Nintendo DS while another title is being developed for the Playstation PSP.

faut préciser que d'après cette annonce, les jeux auront un mode multi oui... mais uniquement online.. rien de précisé pour un éventuel splitscreen :/
