Les gars j'ai une mauvaise nouvelle
Jose Mourinho has reportedly rejected the opportunity to become the next permanent Chelsea manager due to Roman Abramovich's unwillingness to negotiate over his specific terms.
The Real Madrid boss has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge following the departure of former protege Andre Villas-Boas in March but, it would appear, the former will not be moving back to west London.
According to The National, Chelsea owner Abramovich has already made contact with Mourinho via his representatives and set out conditions for the Portuguese's potential return.
Of these, Mourinho was told he would have to part with his current goalkeeping coach at the Bernabeu, Silvino Louro, because Petr Cech already has his own specialist coach, and is not prepared to change.
It was the lack of a personal touch from Abramovich, going via his PA rather than approaching Mourinho himself, and instant interference in team affairs that reportedly put the latter of the idea of moving back to Chelsea.
Mourinho remains incredibly popular among fans at players at Chelsea, but it would seem Abramovich will be unable to secure a second coming of the Special One.
