BLUES IN TRANSFER DEADLINE
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted that he wants to have the signings of Tiago and Didier Drogba secured by next week.
The Blues depart for a pre-season training camp in America on Wednesday and Mourinho would like both to be involved.
Tiago will almost certainly be a Blue by then as he flew in on Friday for a medical, ahead of securing his near £6 million switch from Benfica.
Drogba´s situation is still ongoing as Marseille look for a £25 million fee, but Chelsea are still hopeful of sealing his signature sooner rather than later.
" I can´t speak about Tiago and Drogba because at the moment they are not Chelsea players," said the Portuguese boss.
" Any new players we want will have to arrive before we go to the United States. I want to go there and begin preparations for the season with my full squad.
" I will have worked hard to build the squad before we go and it´s important I have it in place.
" I want the same group of players until the end of the season. Wednesday is the cut-off date for any new signings."
