Bayer Leverkusen star Andre Schurrle fears his dream move to Chelsea is on the verge of breaking down. Schurrle, 22, is believed to have already agreed terms on a five-year deal but the two clubs have yet to finalise his transfer.
Leverkusen are still demanding to take Kevin De Bruyne, who has impressed while on loan from Chelsea at Werder Bremen, as part of the £20million deal. Chelsea would prefer to loan out De Bruyne for another season but the player is starting to question whether he has a long-term future in London.
Schurrle’s agent claimed last week that a deal would be concluded last weekend but now that the deadline has passed, the versatile attacking player is concerned that the transfer will be called off.
