Roman Abramovich is dubious about bringing Jose Mourinho back to Stamford Bridge because of the arguements that happened last time around.

The former Chelsea boss is on the shortlist of candidates to take over from interim manager Rafa Benitez at the end of the season.

But he left Chelsea under a dark cloud after several arguements about how the club was run.

He was not impressed with the appointments of Avram Grant and Frank Arnesen and was frustrated at not having control of transfer policy.

Mourinho won two league titles in his first two seasons, as well as the FA and League cups.

He is likely to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and fans are clamouring for his comeback.

A source close to the Chelsea owner told The Express: 'Roman is not sure of Jose, because of the history between the two of them and what happened before.

'He is worried that the same things could happen again. He’s still making up his mind.'

Ron Gourlay spoke today about the club's aims for the rest of the season.

He said: 'It was the club's plan to have Benitez as interim manager with the aim of securing a Champions League position at the end of the season. We'll assess the situation then.'

Gourlay added: 'We can still win the Europa League and FA Cup, but make no mistake, our priority lies with a Champions League spot.'

The Chelsea CEO was speaking in Thailand to announce a pre-season tour. Gourlay was hopeful the club would have new signings to announce in the summer.

He said: 'When you look at the last three or four transfer windows, we have continued to invest in the team and the philosophy of the football club is based on success on the field.

'We will continue to strengthen the team and I am expecting the introduction of two or three new players and hopefully they will be in place in time to be part of the team in Thailand.'

Celà dit en gros qu'on va recruter 2/3 joueurs avant le stage de préparation? Et ça parle du futur manager?

Ça veut aussi dire que on recruteras surement avant d'avoir un entraîneur donc des bides assurés et ça peut vouloir dire que Mourinho ne viendra pas.
