Fernando Torres has revealed how he wanted to take a penalty but ‘they wouldn’t let me’ as the £50million striker suffered another insult during Chelsea’s Champions League shoot-out victory.

Torres was seen saying ‘yes’ when asked if he wanted to take a kick, but manager Roberto Di Matteo overruled him and included two defenders among his five takers and both scored. The decision was vidicated by Chelsea’s victory.

But now Torres will demand talks about his Chelsea future after confessing to an unhappy season spent mainly as a fringe player. Torres did not appear in the FA Cup final and did not come on until the 84th minute of Saturday’s win against Bayern Munich.

Autant avant j'avais jamais vraiment aimer Torres mais je le soutenait , autant la il ne merite clairement pas ce club.

Je plussoie di matteo a pris la bonne déscision, mata n'aurait pas du tirer aussi ya des mecs qui n'ont pas le mental pour ce genre d'exercice.

Apres je comprend pas sa rage, il a énormément joué cette saison. L'année prochaine il va etre titulaire a tout les matchs , pourquoi il fait un caca nerveux maintenant ?
