PSG plot winter signings

Paris Saint Germain coach Vahid Halilhodzic is reported to be drawing up a short-list of potential transfer targets.
PSG are currently attempting to secure a UEFA Champions League spot and see the winter transfer window as an opportunity to add quality and depth to their squad.
Kim Kallstrom, Sylvain Wiltord and most prominently Christian Karembeu, are names in the frame for potential moves to Parc des Princes.
Paris coach Halilhodzic enjoys an excellent relationship with Karembeu´s agent Milan Calsan and a deal could be brokered in time for January´s transfer window.
Alain Roche, in charge of overseeing transfer dealings, has reputedly already engaged in talks with the 1998 World Cup-winner, but PSG could face competition from several Italian and English clubs.
Karembeu has indicated he desires a move to England, where he previously played for Middlesbrough, and it does seem likely that any move to France could be scuppered by his wage demands.
Long-term target Kallstrom, a talented Swedish Under-21 midfielder, has attracted attention from Bordeaux and Rennes.
Arsenal´s Wiltord has yet to sign a new contract at Highbury and could be available for a cut price move back to Paris in January.
The French forward has been used in an unfamiliar wide-right role to mixed success under Wenger´s tutelage and the Arsenal board are yet to indicate whether a fresh deal will be offered.
