Parisien de cœur, Charles Itandje retrouvera dimanche soir la pelouse d’un stade ou plus jeune il usait ses pantalons. Ce grand fan de Bernard Lama n’est pourtant pas décidé à faire des cadeaux aux Parisiens et entend bien faire durer la bonne série actuelle du Racing à Paris. Voilà le PSG prévenu !

PSG.FR -. Charles Itandje, quel est votre point de vue sur le début de saison du RC Lens et sur le vôtre ?
Charles Itandje : « Nous avions bien commencé le championnat, mais le revers à Lille nous a un peu mis la tête sous l’eau. Il a fallu un gros sursaut d’orgueil pour se maintenir dans les cinq premiers, même si je pense que l’on reste trop inconstants. Pour ma part, mon début de saison est à l’image de celui de l’équipe, mi-figue mi-raisin. Je peux faire beaucoup mieux et espère bien encore m’améliorer. »

PSG.FR -. Comment voyez-vous cette rencontre face au PSG ?
Charles Itandje : « J’espère que l’on fera bonne figure et que l’on continuera notre bonne série au Parc. L’an passé, les choses s’étaient bien passées pour nous puisque nous l’avions emporté 4-3. Si les choses pouvaient se passer de la même façon cette année, ce serait parfait. Mais attention, Paris a beaucoup de qualités. Jusqu’ici, ils ont eu du mal à trouver leur rythme, ils ont sans doute fait preuve de la même inconstance que nous, mais l’on sait qu’ils sont capables d’être très forts. »

PSG.FR -. Pour vous, est-ce spécial de jouer au Parc des Princes ?
Charles Itandje : « Oui, bien sûr, je suis originaire de la région parisienne. Depuis tout petit, je suis supporter du PSG et dès que j’en ai le temps, je reviens dans la région, parfois même pour assister aux matches. Une partie de moi est toujours parisienne. Et le simple fait de jouer au Parc est très excitant. Je me souviens avoir passé des moments incroyables dans ces tribunes, à l’époque des Ginola, Mister George Weah et de mon idole Bernard Lama. Ah, le quatrième but de Kombouaré face au Real, quelle ambiance ! Et puis, ce sera l’occasion de retrouver mon ami Bernard Mendy. J’en profite d’ailleurs pour embrasser toute sa famille et lui exprimer mon soutien dans les difficultés traversées [ndlr, Bernard Mendy a eu la douleur de perdre son père il y a quelques jours]. »

Clair que si on gagne ce soir c´est une remontée geante. Mais bon la L1 c´est comme ca, en 2 matchs on peut monter à fond, ou descendre à fond...
