Pour Sam Allardyce, la défense de Bolton est plus solide depuis qu’elle peut compter sur Florent Laville. Arrivé durant le mercato, l’ancien lyonnais a renforcé l’arrière garde des Wanderers qui ne sont désormais plus relégables en Premier League.

Fulham : Djetou déçu du départ de Tigana

Le défenseur de Fulham, Martin Djetou, a confié sa déception sur son site officiel de voir Jean Tigana quitter le club anglais à la fin de la saison. Prêté par Parme, son avenir en Angleterre demeure incertain.

« Jean Tigana nous a annoncé qu’il avait reçu un courrier concernant son avenir à Fulham. Pour nous les joueurs français, c’est une déception, surtout pour moi car je suis dans l’incertitude quant à mon avenir. Nantes : Un international Espoirs égyptien à l’essai

Actuellement au vert à Saint-Gildas des Bois, les Nantais mettent à l’essai durant quelques jours le défenseur international Espoirs égyptien, Ahmed Abouh Mosalam. Joueur de couloir gauche évoluant à Al Ahly le Caire, il a fait forte impression à l’entraînement.

Les Canaris se sont entraînés à Saint-Gildas des Bois devant plus de 2 000 personnes mercredi. Parmi eux, un nouveau visage, celui de Ahmed Abouh Mosalam, à l’essai jusqu’au 1er avril avec Nantes. Ce défenseur gauche, international Espoirs égyptien, fait parti des pistes envisagées par Robert Budzynski si Sylvain Armand venait à partir à la fin de la saison.

Klose intéresse la Juve

Le quotiden sportif italien, la Gazzetta dello Sport, révèle dans son édition de jeudi que la Juventus Turin, actuellement leader du championnat d´Italie, piste l´attaquant international allemand de Kaiserslautern, Miroslav Klose.

Klose, auteur de cinq buts lors du Mondial 2002, a également déclaré jeudi avoir reçu deux offres du Bayern Munich et du Borussia Dortmund mais a repoussé au moins jusqu´à la semaine prochaine toute décision sur son avenir.

« J´ai actuellement deux offres, du Bayern et de Dortmund », a reconnu Klose à Herzogenaurach, où l´équipe d´Allemagne est réunie en vue du match de qualification pour l´Euro 2004 contre la Lituanie, samedi. « J´aurai la semaine prochaine une discussion avec René Jaeggi ( ndlr : président de Kaiserslautern) à l´issue de laquelle on y verra un peu plus clair. Tout le reste n´est que spéculation », a toutefois ajouté Klose, sous contrat avec le «FCK» jusqu´en juin 2005, mais disposant d´une clause libératoire de 5 millions d´euros.

Domenech is interested in becoming Fulham manager
France Under-21 coach Raymond Domenech has been approached by Fulham about the forthcoming managerial vacancy.
The Cottagers are set to part company with current manager Jean Tigana when his contract expires at the end of the season.

And 51-year-old Domenech admitted he is keen to find out more about the Premiership club.

"It´s true," Domenech told L`Equipe newspaper.

"It`s an interesting offer and I have not closed the door. I am ready to talk about it.

"One of the reasons is that it is maybe time to test on the field the knowledge I have accumulated as coach at the national coaching centre."

Domenech has been in charge of the French Under-21 set-up since 1993 and played a key role in developing the careers of many of the players who lifted the World Cup in 1998 and won Euro 2000.

The London Evening Standard reports that Rustu Recber, who
impressed during last summers World Cup Finals, is keen on a
move to the Premiership and that Arsenal are one of the
teams that he’d like to join.

"I´d love to play for Arsenal, of course I would. I want to
play for one of the biggest teams in the Champions League,
particularly in England. Arsenal are on the agenda but it´s
not official yet. Nothing has been signed.

Liverpool will not deliver Brazil World Cup winner Rivaldo´s dream of a move to Anfield.
Rivaldo, who has been struggling to hold down his first-team place at Italian giants AC Milan, revealed a burning ambition to ply his trade in the Premiership.

"If I could choose my next team, and if they want me, it will be Liverpool," he told the News of the World newspaper.

"It would be an honour for me to wear their red shirt and I would regard it as a dream to play alongside Michael Owen."

"I have decided that I want one or two seasons in England before the end of my career and I want it to be at Liverpool."

Houllier said: "Don´t get me wrong, Rivaldo is a fantastic player, but bringing in high-profile players is not the way I work.

"They cost a lot of money for a limited number of years and I don´t like that kind of risk."

Houllier also revealed he would not be making wholesale summer changes.

He said: "We don´t need four or five players, my plan is to bring in just one or two.

"What has happened this season has not broken my belief in this team. I know there are areas we need to improve and sometimes this season we have lacked creativity.

Le président du FC Nantes-Atlantique, Jean-Luc Gripond, a donné son accord pour cette opération, qui doit permettre à l´ancien international ( 25 sélections) de maintenir sa condition physique dans le but de retrouver un club.

« Il s´agit simplement de tendre la main et d´aider un joueur qui a évolué sous nos couleurs, mais en aucun cas il n´y aura de suite », a prévenu le patron du FCNA.

Reynald Pedros, 31 ans, a évolué de 1990 à 1996 à Nantes, club avec lequel il a remporté le championnat de France en 1995.

Il a ensuite joué successivement à Marseille, Parme, Naples, Lyon, Montpellier, Toulouse et Bastia.

Krstajic ( Brême) pisté par Arsenal

Le défenseur international yougoslave du Werder Brême, Mladen Krstajic, aurait reçu une offre d´Arsenal. Le joueur l´a annoncé mardi dans un journal local du nord de l´Allemagne, sans autre détail.

«J´aimerais bien rester à Brême, mais si le club ne me retient pas, je m´intéresserai aussi à d´autres clubs», a déclaré le joueur âgé de 29 ans, sous contrat avec le Werder Brême jusqu´en 2004.

Krstajic avait été transféré en 2001 à Brême du club yougoslave Partizan Belgrade pour 1,25 million d´euros. Sa valeur actuelle est estimée à 7 millions d´euros, selon les experts.
