CISSE VEUT ALLER A LIVERPOOL.....
Cisse wants Liverpool switch
Cisse would like to play with Owen
Auxerre striker Djibril Cisse has sent Liverpool a clear message he is ready to move to Anfield.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with the French international, who says he would relish the chance to play at Anfield alongside Michael Owen.
" I would like to go. But if the club don´t want me out, I won´t make a fuss about it," the 22-year-old striker told sports daily l´Equipe.
" But it´s not a secret that I´d like to go. Everybody knows it.
" There´s always the danger of failure but it´s only by playing abroad you can test yourself. If things don´t go all right I´ll bounce back."
Cisse´s future is likely to be confirmed following the French Cup final against Paris St Germain on Saturday.
But Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier is a good friend of Auxerre coach Guy Roux and, despite competition from Marseille, the Merseyside club seem favourite to sign the £10m-rated forward.
" I have emotional ties with Marseille, I´ve said it in the past," said Cisse, whose mother lives in Arles, near the big Mediterranean port.
" So why not? But for sure I´d love to go to Liverpool."
