Trabelsi ´set for England´

Ajax defender Hatem Trabelsi is close to sealing a move to a Premiership side, according to the Amsterdam club´s director Arie van Eijden.
" Hatem has made much progress with a club from England, and we hope for a solution," Van Eijden told the Dutch newspaper AD Sportwereld.

Arsenal, Newcastle and Manchester United have been linked with Trabelsi.

The right-back was also a member of the Tunisia squad that won the African Nations Cup earlier this year.

Oui, apparemment Trabelsi est entre Newcastle et Arsenal, avec peut-être finalement MU qui pourrait l´arracher, même si c´est moins probable.

United new boy Gabriel Heinze enjoyed a great start to the Copa America as his Argentina side trounced Ecuador 6-1 in Peru.

The £6.7million signing from Paris St Germain was making only his eighth international appearance for Marcelo Bielsa´s side, and impressed in a game which had been locked at 1-1 until the 64th minute.
Barcelona striker Javier Saviola netted a 14-minute hat-trick in an incredible ending to the game which also contained strikes from D´Allesandro and Luis Gonzalez.

Elsewhere, United striker Diego Forlan´s Uruguay managed a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Mexico despite being reduced to 10 men.

Injury-jinxed midfielder Kleberson admits he has had difficulties adapting to life in Manchester on and off the pitch.

The Brazilian, currently in Peru for the Copa America, suffered a dislocated shoulder and a knee injury during a turbulent debut season at United which yielded only 13 starts.

Kleberson admits: " The first season in England was very difficult for me. Adapting over there was complicated and the injuries were a problem."

" I had some exciting moments in my first season in England. But I was injured twice and that put me back both at my club and with the national team."

However, the World Cup-winning midfielder remains optimistic ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
