Le défenseur de l’AS Roma, Walter Samuel, a signé jeudi un contrat de cinq ans au Real Madrid. Le club espagnol a communiqué le transfert sur son site officiel.

Walter Samuel ( 26 ans) a signé un contrat de cinq ans au Real Madrid. Le défenseur international argentin évoluait à l’AS Roma depuis la saison 2000-2001 et fait parti des meilleurs défenseurs du Calcio.

Selon le quotidien espagnol AS, le champion d’Angleterre Arsenal a fait une proposition au Real Madrid à hauteur de 24 millions d’euros pour s’attacher les services de Fernando Morientes, actuellement prêté à Monaco.

Fortement annoncé du côté de Chelsea, Fernando Morientes pourrait finalement jouer pour un autre club londonien, Arsenal. Selon le quotidien espagnol AS, le champion d’Angleterre a fait une proposition au Real Madrid à hauteur de 24 millions d’euros pour recruter son attaquant Fernando Morientes ( 28 ans) actuellement prêté à Monaco.

Rosicky chases BVB departure

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Tomas Rosicky has said he wants to leave the Westfalenstadion this summer with reports claiming he could be on his way to Liverpool.
Speaking to the Czech magazine Sport, Rosicky expressed his frustration with BVB after a season blighted by injury and a dramatic lack of form.

Though he has a lengthy contract with the Bundesliga outfit, he is eager to quit the club in search of a fresh challenge.

" Even though I´ve got a long-term contract in Dortmund, I still want to leave this summer," the 23-year-old said.

" A move would be a new impulse for my career. I´m just standing still or taking backward steps in Dortmund and am losing value as a result."

Rosicky´s agent is quoted in the Prague-based newspaper Pravo as saying that negotiations have begun to bring his client to Liverpool for next season where he could link up with his fellow Czech internationals Milan Baros and Vladimir Smicer.

Reds boss Gerard Houllier could have his transfer war chest bolstered by the expected cash injection from Thailand prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

He is keen to pump £60 million into the club and, if the deal goes through, Houllier may decide to use some of the cash to fund a swoop for Rosicky, if reports are to be believed.

pour notre possible grosse recrue qui est sensé etre deja signé je parirais sur van der vaart parce que rosicky demande à partir et gerrard demande des changements à liverpool donc je pense pas que ce soit c 2 là qui sont concernés.

England striker Alan Smith looks to be on the verge of an £8m transfer from Leeds United to Manchester United.
Leeds director Peter Lorimer told BBC Five Live a deal with the Old Trafford club was close to being completed.

" Without giving away too many secrets, we are not that far away," he said. " We are just hoping to get to the next stage now and something can happen."

Everton have made a reported £7m offer, while Newcastle and Middlesbrough are also interested in the 24-year-old.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to sign Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze from Paris St Germain.
The 26-year-old could move to Old Trafford for a fee of around £6m.

Heinze, who plays as a left-sided central defender, is on the fringe of the Argentina team and has been called up for World Cup qualfiers next month.

He has also played for Valladolid in Spain and Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, and would be granted a work permit as he has a German passport.

Heinze could be an ideal partner for Rio Ferdinand when the England defender returns from suspension, allowing Mikael Silvestre to return to left back.

Chelsea reportedly made a £7m bid for the player in January, but PSG president Francis Graille said at the time Heinze would not be allowed to leave until the end of the season.

heinze s´il doit venir je prefere le voir latéral gauche parce que dans l´axe il me parait moins bon. en plus la charnière ferdinand-silvestre a été très efficace tout de meme.
