L´argent de ce tranfert permettrait à Manchester United de recruter le milieu international anglais de Liverpool, Steven Gerrard, pour qui Sir Alex Ferguson, le coach mancunien, serait prêt à lâcher 30 millions d´euros. Ruud van Nistelrooy last night fired out a warning shot to the Premiership and Europe insisting: Manchester United will be back next season - with me leading the fight. The Dutchman believes Sir Alex Ferguson´s side will strike back and is adamant he will be part of next season´s challenge. Van Nistelrooy has been linked with a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona - so strongly that officials at the Nou Camp remain convinced they have landed their man. Roy Keane says Manchester United can still match Chelsea´s power in the transfer market because the club offers more than just fat pay cheques. Chelsea have the financial clout to buy any player in the world backed by the millions of Roman Abramovich. But Keane believes top stars - particularly young players - will still be tempted to Old Trafford because of its reputation as the biggest club in the world. C´est en tout cas ce que déclare son agent Rodger Linse dans le quotidien espagnol Marca.
On connait donc le futur " galatique". Le joueur aurait profité d´une clause dans son contrat qui empeche le club mancunien de s´opposer au transfert du joueur vers le Real. Du coté de Old Trafford, on refuse de commente cette nouvelle sans pour autant la démentir.
Toujours d´apres Marca ce tranfert ne couterai rien au club espagnol. Ce serait un échange contre Raul.

Cantona expresses his love for United and his admiration for Alex Ferguson.

" What I love about United is that in the 10 years they have won a lot of things, they have had that success with two generations," Eric told the Evening News.
