The agent of Valencia winger Vicente has dismissed reports linking the Spanish international with a possible move to Manchester United.
Reports emanating from Spain suggested that United were lining up a sizeable offer for the left-sided wideman.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on bringing in a new winger, having lost out to Chelsea for Arjen Robben, and is believed to have made Vicente a top target.
The player´s representative Miguel Angel Cermeno insists Vicente has no plans to leave and that he is happy to stay at Valencia.
" I am not going to sit down and speak to anyone, nor am I going to listen to offers because the player is clear that he wants to stay at Valencia," Cermeno told Spanish daily Las Provincias.
" It is here he has found the ideal professional and personal stability and he doesn´t want to change that for anything, no matter how dizzying the offer could be."
Cermeno revealed that Vicente had attracted the interest of a host of clubs across Europe and that several sides tried to buy him last summer.
" The biggest teams in England and Italy and Barcelona have also kept an eye on him since trying to sign him last summer," added Cermeno.
" This interest is not new, it goes back a long way, because you can look at his progression."
Valencia president Jaime Orti disclosed that the skilful winger turned down the chance to join Arsenal and that they are working on extending his stay at La Mestalla.
" Vicente could have joined Arsenal, but he preferred to stay at Valencia," said Orti.
" He wants to spend his entire career at Valencia and we want that to happen. There can´t be any problems."
Il a pas l´air de vouloir partir de Valence mais bon on sait jamais.
