Ruud van Nistelrooy is delighted to have Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in action as the Norwegian forward is set to make his comeback on Thursday night for United´s reserves.
Ole has spent more than four months on the sidelines having undergone knee surgery. Having had his comeback delayed once, Solskjear will finally return tonight at Moss Lane against Aston Villa´s reserves.
" Ole has looked good in training," says Ruud. " He doesn´t look as though he´s been out for four months.
" He hasn´t lost his good level of fitness, but he needs games and playing the reserves will help him build up to first team football."
Solskjaer´s return is a welcome boost to United´s attack, already bolstered by Sir Alex Ferguson with the signing of Louis Saha last month.
" He´s so important to our team," says Ruud of Ole. " We have missed him and hope he´s back soon."
Should Ole come through tonight´s match, he will be available for selection as United go into the most crucial stage of the season.
