Manchester United´s transfer dealings are again under scrutiny after claims that the club appointed two agents to negotiate the Kleberson deal.

The Football Association have requested evidence following a tabloid newspaper report about the Brazil international midfielder´s £6m summer transfer.

Mario Celso Petraglia, president of selling club Atletico Paranaense, has claimed that former United chief executive Peter Kenyon told him to negotiate with two agents selected by the English champions, forcing a third agent out of the deal.

Yet the News of the World claim to have seen documents which state Kleberson, 24, granted Brazilian Juan Figer sole authority to conduct the deal in August.

Figer said: " United cannot be allowed to behave like this.

" I´m prepared to go to court, to go to Fifa, in fact to do whatever it takes to get justice."

FA spokesman Adrian Bevington told the newspaper: " Can you please pass any ( evidence) you have on to us? We will consider what is appropriate from there.

" We will consider any evidence you have and forward it on to the appropriate parties if necessary."

Petraglia said of the transfer: " I´m very disturbed. Peter Kenyon called me and said he wanted to buy Kleberson.

" He told me I should negotiate with two agents selected by Manchester United. One of them was Jorge Gama, I can´t remember the other but his name is definitely in the document at the club."

Ian Hetherington confirmed he was the other agent. " We were appointed by United, yes, to represent them," he said.

United director of communications Paddy Harverson said the club would happily co-operate with any investigation.

He said: " At no point whatsoever did we insist the deal be done through two agents. It is absolutely not correct.

" We would be happy to co-operate with any investigation by Fifa if there is one.

" Like all our deals, the documentation goes through the FA, so it is all there for anyone to see."

The FA have already confirmed they are investigating American goalkeeper Tim Howard´s £2.3m summer move to United.

et ca continue on a fait n´importe quoi sur le transfert de kleb . on risque tres gros . en plus d´etre mauvaison a un nombre d´emmerde hallucinant . .

" Ferguson unhappy with attack"

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was critical of his team´s poor finishing as they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at lowly Wolves.
Ferguson felt his side should have taken at least a point from the game - and should have had a penalty.

" I thought we controlled the match. It think it was the waste of our chances," said Ferguson.

" There were some really good positions we got into and we just didn´t finish them off.

" But that´s the nature of football and goals change games. Once Wolves did score their goal they were very difficult to peg back.

" This is a team that´s fighting for its life. They want to stay in the Premier division. They showed today the appetite to stay there.

" It wasn´t a poor performance. We got frustrated once Wolves scored but that was a natural reaction. I have no problems with our performance but we did not take our chances

Asked about the possible penalty in the first half when Darren Fletcher appeared to be tripped in the area, Ferguson said: " Everyone says it was a penalty. Andy D´Urso is an experienced referee but he probably sided with home side a bit there."

Rio Ferdinand, who now starts his ban for missing a drugs test, played only five minutes of the second half before limping off.

Ferguson said: " He got a shin knock in the first half and it came up like an egg once he cooled down at half-time."

The United boss believes Ferdinand´s appeal against his eight-month ban should be heard very soon.

He said: " I would imagine the hearing would be very quick, a week to 10 days, in which case we are ready."

Alex Ferguson considère qu´il faudra du temps, « peut-être deux ou trois ans », avant que le buteur chinois Dong Fangzhou, qui a signé la semaine dernière un contrat avec Manchester United, acquiert le niveau de la première division.

Manchester United and other Premiership clubs have targeted teenage striker James Milner as Leeds confront the growing threat of administration ( Mail on Sunday).

Fulham have conceded striker Louis Saha will be sold by declaring an interest in Chelsea´s Eidur Gudjohnsen ( Sunday Express).

Fulham will only consider a player swap deal with Manchester United for Louis Saha if United offer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ( Sunday Mirror).
