United´s new Lee
Manchester United have won the race to sign Wimbledon´s teenage midfield prospect Lee Martin. United have agreed to pay the Dons a fee of around £250,000 initially with more to follow depending on the 16-year old´s progress. Arsenal had also sent scouts to watch Martin in action and were interested in doing a deal.

Moyes bid to capture Butt
Everton are ready to test just how serious Nicky Butt is about leaving behind Manchester United. Despite becoming an England regular, Butt has become a peripheral figure at United. Everton see that as an opportunity to land the central midfielder they desperately need. The Goodison club have stolen a march on their rivals in the chase for the 28-year old, thanks to the relationship between manager David Moyes and Sir Alex Ferguson.
