David Bellion´s agent has laughed off reports that the Manchester United striker could be set for a loan move to Espanyol.
Reports emanating from France suggest that Espanyol boss Luis Fernandez has targeted Bellion for a loan switch when the transfer window reopens in January.
Espanyol are on the lookout for a new striker to help them steer clear of trouble in La Liga and Bellion was reported to be among their list of targets.
The Frenchman´s representative Mike Morris has rubbished the reports and insists he is unaware of any possible move.
" I know nothing about any interest from Espanyol in David. That¿s the first I have heard of it," Morris told skysports.com.
" It has come as something of a complete surprise as David is enjoying himself at United.
" As I say, I know nothing about it unless Sir Alex Ferguson knows something we don´t."
Bellion has made nine appearances for United this season after his summer move from Sunderland and it is unlikely that the Premiership champions would be willing to loan him out as they prepare for the challenge of the UEFA Champions League in the New Year and regaining the title.
