Trezeguet remplacé?
La Juventus de Turin et David Trezeguet n´ont pas encore trouvé d´accord en ce qui concerne le renouvellement de contrat de l´attaquant français.

Selon le site italien GoalCity, l´avant-centre Bianconeri qui gagne actuellement 1,6 millions d´Euros par saison, en voudrait le double, voir le triple. Mais, la Juve n´est pas prête à un tel sacrifice alors qu´elle travaille en faveur d´une réduction des coûts, et de la sauvegarde d´un bon bilan financier. En conséquence, l´équipe championne en titre se prépare à un remplaçement au cas où l´international français déciderait de faire ses adieux à la Vieille Dame. Ainsi dimanche, l´un des émissaires turinois était à Brescia pour suivre un jeune et prometteur Italien de 22 ans, Caracciolo, dont le style de jeu se rapprocherait de celui de Trezeguet.

Trezeguet, pourquoi pas mais il doit être cher et je pense qu´il finira par trouver un accord pour prolonger à la Juve...Au passage, Raul et Guti viennnent de le faire au Real.

Van Nistelrooy set for new deal

Van Nistelrooy has not scored in open play for six matches
Manchester United are reported to be set to extend Ruud van Nistelrooy´s contract in order to keep him out of Real Madrid´s reach.
The Daily Mail claims that Real, who were linked with Michael Owen at the weekend, are interested in Van Nistelrooy.

The Dutchman, who is said to want to prove himself in Spain, is halfway through a five-year contract at United.

The paper reports that contract negotiations between the Old Trafford club and Van Nistelrooy have been revived over the past fortnight.

The new deal could see him earn more than £60,000-a-week.

Meanwhile Sir Alex Ferguson believes Van Nistelrooy´s recent goal famine is due to him being dropped by Holland.

Van Nistelrooy goes into Tuesday´s Champions League clash with Rangers having not scored a goal in open play for six matches.

Ferguson said the striker had been affected by the row with Dutch coach Dick Advocaat which led to Van Nistelrooy being sidelined by his national team and unlikely to start in the upcoming Euro 2004 play-offs.

" I think he probably knows he is not playing against Scotland and I think it is a distraction. I don´t think it is an easy situation for him," said Ferguson.

" I hope he can score quickly and put things behind him."

American teenage sensation Freddy Adu has revealed his ambition is to play for Premiership champions Manchester United.
The 14-year-old has attracted the attention of several top European clubs following some impressive displays for the United States Under-17 and Under-20 sides.

Manchester United are believed to have been tracking the highly-rated youngster for some time and are said to be keen add him to their growing US contingent.

American goalkeeper Tim Howard has already made an impressive start to his Old Trafford career and 17-year-old defender Jonathan Spector has joined United´s ranks.

" I would love to end up in England some day playing for Manchester United or a team like that," Adu told BBC World Football in an exclusive interview.

" I´ve loved them ever since I was a baby.

US international and LA Galaxy defender Alexi Lalas believes Adu has the potential to be one of the game´s biggest stars.

He added: " Freddy Adu is a phenomenon and certainly a wonderful player. He´s very, very young, but he has the ability to live up to the pressures and expectations."

je sais pas si vous voyez mais le premier but est tres joli et sur le second il pose une volée superbe,transversale et la balle qui retape sur le genou de van nistelrooy pour le but.

comme tjours en ce moment...si il continue MU n´aura plus besoin d´un 2eme attaquant...

Comme quoi fallait être patient avec Forlan, il est passé de médiocre à attaquant correct, voire joker de luxe, et il est encore jeune...Je continue à penser que c´est le moins fort à MU, mais il s´améliore ^^
