=>eKluivert rejects Premiership move"
Kluivert has struggled for Barcelona this season
Unsettled Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert has dismissed reports that he is set to move to the Premiership when the transfer window opens.
Reports linked the Dutchman with Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle but Kluivert is adamant a move to England is not on the cards.
" I have not spoken to Arsenal, or to any other Premiership club," he said.
" There is no chance of my moving to the Premiership in the near future."
Kluivert is enduring a difficult season in Barcelona in which he has yet to score and has suffered relentless terrace abuse.
And earlier this week, the Catalan club revealed that a trio of Premiership clubs had inquired about the 28-year-old.
" So far no club other than Newcastle have directly approached us about Kluivert, but Arsenal and Chelsea have inquired," said a Barca spokesman.
The spokesman added he thought it unlikely Kluivert would go to Newcastle.
" We know that Newcastle have been very interested in him but I think that if he goes he will try to go to a bigger club," the spokesman added.
" I think that he wants to go to London which is a good place to live in. Newcastle isn´t that big."
Kluivert is available at a knock-down price, after accepting a cut in wages during the summer when Barca dramatically cut their wage bill, on the condition that his buy-out clause be slashed.
That renegotiated deal saw his annual salary of more than £4m halved, but also slashed the buy-out clause in his contract from a prohibitive £25m to a relatively modest £1.3m release fee.
Rio devrai pouvoir jouer au moins jusqu´à la mi novembre, Barthez pourrait revenir.
=>Rio hold up helps Alex
The FA´s delay in charging Rio Ferdinand over his failure to take a drug test is playing into Manchester United´s hands. Boss Sir Alex Ferguson will be happy the process is dragging on because with Wes Brown not expected back until Christmas he is short of defenders and a ban for Ferdinand would make it worse. The FA indicated yesterday any charge would not be until next week at the earliest as Ferdinand´s phone records are still being checked. If charged, United and the player have 14 days to appeal and another appeal if found guilty. But Ferdinand is out of the England squad for the November 16 Denmark friendly as the hearing will not have taken place by then.

=>Barthez dilemma
Fabien Barthez could be back at Old Trafford twiddling his thumbs as early as next Friday. That is the deadline Marseille have set for FIFA to approve the loan deal from Manchester United. Barthez, who has already trained with his old club, now faces an agonising wait. He was presented to the Marseille media yesterday even though his move outside an accepted transfer window is by no means certain to go ahead. Barthez said: " That is out of my hands. What I do know is there was no necessity for me to leave United. Barthez, set to challenge Croat Vedran Runje for the No1 spot at Marseille, added: " I don´t know whether I have played my last match for United. I have a contract to 2006 and a lot of things can happen."

anelka ? mouahahahaha ^^ autant qu´ils te fassent signer ca sera moins cher... ; )
Tiens un touriste ^^
le seul, l´unique... ^^
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson may play a more attacking side after the mid-week win at Rangers.
Cristiano Ronaldo or Darren Fletcher could return to the flanks after being on the bench at Ibrox.
Man Utd ( from): Howard, G Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Fortune, P Neville, Keane, O´Shea, Giggs, Scholes, Van Nistelrooy, Butt, Djemba-Djemba, Carroll, Ronaldo, Bellion, Forlan, Fletcher.
BIG-MATCH FACTS
MANCHESTER UNITED against Fulham is a top six clash between the best and the worst supported clubs in the Premiership
" Prince recruits Man U media boss"
Paddy Harverson will start working at Clarence House in February
The Prince of Wales has appointed Manchester United´s media boss as his new communications secretary.
Paddy Harverson, 40, was headhunted for the well-paid job and chosen by Prince Charles.
He will begin the newly-created job in February, replacing Colleen Harris who is moving to the Commission For Racial Equality.
Mr Harverson, a former journalist, was with Manchester United for three years as its director of communications.
His new role as a key royal aide will include responsibility for media matters concerning Charles´s sons, William and Harry.
" I have enjoyed a wonderful three years at Manchester United and will be very sad to leave Old Trafford, but I am looking forward hugely to my new job and the challenges ahead," Mr Harverson said.
Anelka non merci.
