une petite news :
The agent of Adriano, Gilmar Rinaldi, told Italian television on the news tonight that a move to Man Utd would be a right step for the player at this moment of he’s career. He also said that a move will happen in the next 48 hours as the player have agreed the personal terms and that Man Utd and Inter are very close to a deal that looks like to be around £22 millions. Around half of the price the media operated with earlier today.
It is not only Man Utd that has made an approach for him. But Adriano has told his agent that of all the clubs that have showed interest in signing him, Man Utd was the only alternative.
Rinaldi has squashed the speculations that Adriano was not up for sale, declaring that his client has had an intention of leaving Inter all summer after he heard the news that the club were up to bringing in 2 new strikers or more.
“He’s leaving Inter, and there was never even a minimum chance of him staying after Crespo arrived and he was told that when Inter sign another striker he would be the third choice. That is unacceptable as he is a better, stronger and a younger player than Crespo, Rinaldi said”
Brazilian striker eyed by United
2006-08-09 12:42
Inter Milan´s Adriano is reportedly interesting Manchester United as his Italian club revamp their strike force for next season.
Sources in the Italian press are suggesting Inter´s moves in the transfer market will leave Adriano surplus to requirements at the San Siro - opening the way for United to make a big money bid.
The Nerazzuri have signed Hernan Crespo on a two-year loan from Chelsea and are actively pursuing Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Juventus, while coach Roberto Mancini says he has no plans to sell Obafemi Martins either.
There has been interest in the Nigerian since Crespo´s arrival, but it may be Adriano´s position under the greatest threat with Inter set to cash in on a player who has been either brilliant or woeful for the club.
Injury problems have also held him back but he completed only 45 minutes of last night´s friendly match against Watford at Vicarage Road, where he was watched by several Premiership scouts.

vrai faux on verra ..
on verra
Adriano a MU!
Fergie happy with Ronaldo
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson praised Cristiano Ronaldo for his pre-season performance at Oxford United.
The Portugal international made his first appearance for The Red Devils since his controversial time at the World Cup.
The former Sporting Lisbon man lasted 72 minutes and scored two fine goals in United´s 4-1 thrashing of their Nationwide Conference hosts at The Kassam Stadium on Tuesday evening.
"It was Cristiano´s first game back and I thought he handled it very well," said Ferguson. "He took his goals very well.
"They were both great strikes and he got a terrific reception from the United supporters as well and all in all, he did very well."
FA receive red cards report
The Football Association have received Dutch official Ruud Bossen´s report regarding the red cards shown to Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes.
The Manchester United duo were sent off during the opening game of the Amsterdam Tournament against Porto last Friday.
Rooney was dismissed for catching Porto defender Pepe in the face with his arm, although the incident appeared to be unintentional.
Former England international Scholes was sent off for felling Ricardo Quaresma from behind, having been booked for an earlier rash challenge.
Both players are staring at Premiership suspensions, but the bans would only come into effect if The FA received Bossen´s report on the incidents.
Bossen´s comments have now made their way to FA headquarters and a decision will be taken on whether the bans will stand.
Rooney is currently due to serve a three-game suspension, while Scholes will also sit out three games if The FA do not overturn the red cards.
Scholes and Rooney would be available for United´s opening game of the season against Fulham, but would then miss the matches against Charlton, Watford and Tottenham.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has pleaded for leniency to be shown to Rooney, although he had no quarrel with Scholes´ dismissal.
Rooney has been reported for violent conduct, and Scholes for serious foul play, with The Red Devils having until Friday to appeal against the punishments.
United back in for Diarra
Manchester United have not given up on the hope that they could still sign Mahamadou Diarra.
The Lyon midfielder has long been considered to be one of Sir Alex Ferguson´s top transfer targets but the French champions have been determined to hang onto their imposing influence.
French sources claim United have secretly tabled an official bid this week for the highly-rated Mali international, who has impressed at UEFA Champions League level for the Stade Gerland outfit.
Real Madrid remain favourites to snare Diarra and their willingness to splash out around €20 million (£13.5 million) will severely test Lyon´s resolve. Coach Fabio Capello wants the former Vitesse Arnhem star to come to Spain and Real would be able to compete in a head-to-head battle with United should l´OL agree to sell the player.
Ferguson´s renewed interest in the 25-year-old could explain why the Old Trafford club´s move for Villarreal´s Marcos Senna has still to be processed.
Although the Yellow Submarines appear willing to sell the Spain international, a deal has not been finalised which has led to the belief that United are waiting on other targets before committing to a transfer. Indeed, Ferguson suggested as much last week.
"We are looking at some other players at this moment in time and I think something will happen next week," Ferguson said ahead of the Amsterdam Tournament last Friday.
"There is interest in Senna but there is interest in other players as well."
Diarra has been on the wanted list at United since impressing against The Red Devils in the Champions League but Real will provide fierce competition for his signature if Lyon do eventually give the green light to a sale, despite the French champions´ official statements claiming the African star is staying put.
L’Inter dément un départ d’Adriano
10/08/2006 - 12 h 46 - Rudy Grougi
