Je reviens de 2 jours à Paris sous la canicule, et voilà que j´apprends en arrivant enfin dans ma fraiche et humble demeure que Ruud ne va plus au Real !! Enorme surprise, j´ai lu que le Bayern le voulait et que Hoeness prétend que Ruud veut jouer pour eux.

Parait que le site du Real a commis la gaffe de publier l´annonce de son transfert officiel pendant que Ferguson refusait lol.

Le transfert de Ruud au Bayern s´effectuerait à environ £14,5M selon les rumeurs...

Quant à Carrick, une offre de £15M + Silvestre pourrait être envisagée étant donné que Tottenham a besoin d´un défenseur. Néanmoins, je continue de penser que c´est trop pour un tel joueur.

C´est clair que c´est beaucoup trop cher pour Carrick mais si Sir Alex veut depenser autant pour lui...

Concernant Ruud, le Real ne veut pas mettre plus sur lui.

Sir Alex Ferguson has extended an olive branch to marksman Ruud van Nistelrooy and expects to see him back at pre-season training for Manchester United on Monday.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for the 30-year-old, after he fell out of favour at Old Trafford towards the end of last season.

But the manager will not budge on his £15 million valuation of the prolific goalscorer, and with a deal unlikely to be tied up before United´s World Cup stars return to Carrington, Ferguson appears prepared to U-turn on what most people thought would be an imminent departure for the Dutchman.

"Ruud is not definitely leaving and I expect to see him at training on Monday," Ferguson explained.

"I spoke to [chief executive] David Gill on the phone yesterday and there is no development as far as Real Madrid is concerned.

"They have made an offer, we have rejected it. That is where the situation lies.

"If they don´t come back in and increase their offer, he won´t be going and I would be content with that. It would not bother me a bit.

"He is a striker who can score upwards of 20 goals a season and there are not many of those going around."

New Bernabeu coach Fabio Capello has declared his intent to bring the player to La Liga, but has refused to be held to ransom on what he considers an exorbitant price.

But Ferguson has cited the £29 million Chelsea paid for Andrei Shevchenko and £8.5 million Everton forked out for Andrew Johnson from Crystal Palace in his defence of the price.

The fiery Scotsman´s transfer kitty pales in comparison with that of Premiership champions Chelsea, but speaking on The Red Devils´ three-game tour of South Africa, Ferguson has clarified his position in questioning the practicality of his rivals´ transfer strategy.

"Chelsea have every right to do what is right for their club, just as we have every right to do what is right for us," he added.

"I did not say their transfer policy was bad for the game. It is clearly good for Chelsea.

"But, if it is correct they are going to sign 30 African boys you have to wonder how they are all going to get a game."

United play in the Vodacom Cup final against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday in a rematch of the 1-0 victory on Tuesday, when Dong Fangzhou´s late strike for the North West club sealed the win.

Bof, les "cibles" c´est aussi Diarra, Kuzsczak, Torres, donc faut pas s´emballer puisque Sir Alex n´a jamais mentionné de noms. Parmi les joueurs évoqués par la presse bien peut ont signé ailleurs en plus. Et je suis sûr qu´il y en a d´autres: Hargreaves ? Vieira ? Etc...

Carrick serait déjà un choix judicieux, même s´il faudrait attendre de le voir à l´oeuvre. Rien qu´avec lui une partie de nos pbs serait rêglés.

Atletico hit out over Torres

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has angrily dismissed claims Fernando Torres will be leaving the club this summer, despite fresh reports in Spain that Manchester United are preparing a multi-million pound offer for the striker.

After his impressive showing at the World Cup, Torres has established himself as one of the most sought-after front men in Europe.

A host of clubs are reported to be monitoring his situation, but it is United who have been credited with the strongest interest.

With Ruud van Nistelrooy seemingly on his way out of Old Trafford, Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be lining up a replacement with Torres topping his list.

Spanish sources claim a €37 million (£25 million) bid is being prepared to test Atletico´s resolve, but the Primera outfit are growing tired of the constant speculation.

President Cerezo is adamant the player will not be sold and was more than a little tetchy as he responded to the latest barrage of questions on his star striker.

"Fernando is doing well, he is looking forward to playing and above all looking forward to winning," Cerezo told reporters.

"I have never doubted that he will be playing at Atletico Madrid, it is you (the media) who have been doubting it.

"We do not sell, we buy players.

"I don´t know if there are any offers for him because it is you (the media) who make up these offers and these stories.

"I ask you to drop the whole matter regarding Fernando. He has rejoined us after his holidays and will be playing for Atletico.

"If you want to ask if he will continue here or not, please don´t ask me again."

Rumeur (encore une ) sur Five Live ce matin d´un des spécialistes de la BBC sur la Liga. Torres aurait refusé une approche de l´Inter et privilégierait MU. Le club aurait demandé à Torres d´être patient car une offre de 37M€ (comme mentionnée par ruud_0) serait prévue si Ruud part. Apparemment le club aurait déjà envoyé qq en Espagne pour commencer à prendre contact...

Pas que j´y crois à 100% mais bon, à 25M£ ça deviendrait dur pour l´Atletico de résister. Et à 30M£ on atteindrait un des plus gros transferts de l´histoire, au niveau de Ronaldo ou Sheva, donc à suivre. Comme on dit souvent, "every man has his price" (bien que cela signifie pas tout à fait la même chose), en foot ça doit être encore plus vrai ^^

Man Utd beaten in final tour game

Manchester United completed their tour of South Africa on a low note with a penalty shoot-out defeat to Kaiser Chiefs after a dour goalless draw.

Chinese international Dong Fangzhou wasted four clear opportunities in the first half while Kieron Richardson had two close-range efforts blocked.

United keeper Luke Steele did well to keep out Shaun Bartlett´s header.

With the scores level at 0-0 after extra time, misses from Ben Foster and Chris Eagles sealed the Chiefs´ win.

United were again without many of their first team regulars allowing youngsters John Evans, Phil Bardsley, Dong, Giuseppe Rossi, Steele and David Jones to impress.

But few did much to excite Sir Alex Ferguson and striker Rossi ended the tour without a goal when he was substituted in the 59th minute.

United failed to convert their few chances and were punished on penalties as the Chiefs claimed the Vodacom Challenge final in Pretoria.

The Reds now travel to Johannesburg where they will fly home to link up with many of the first team players for training at Carrington on Monday.

Sir Alex a annoncé ne pas etre pressé dans l´achat de nouveaux joueurs, il n´a pas l´intention d´acheter n´importe qui, à n´importe quel prix. Et, il dit également que l´offre pour Carrick ne sera pas augmenté considérant que notre offre correspond à son prix.

Ben Foster pourrait rester avec nous la saison prochaine si Kuszcack ne vient pas.
