Juste pour rappel, Chelsea n´a plus que 6 (!) défenseurs pros sous contrat. Dont Brigde qui veut partir, et serait apparemment remplacé par un Roberto Carlos qui ne brille guère en défense.

C´est vraiment un comble pour un Mourhino au pur jeu defensif.

On a signé personne je suis d´accord, mais on retrouve Scholes qui a été absent 6 mois et nous fera 1000 fois plus de bien que O´Shea ^^

Sans oublier les absences longue durée de Gary ou Heinze.

Il faut rester patient car ça reprend tout juste pour MU.

"Le coup a la rooney" ça va nous amené à recruter fin aout. Ce serait bien pour une fois de recruter nos joueurs avant la tournée meme si maintenant ça parait très difficile puisqu´elle commence le 15, je crois.

Carrick, je l´ai trouvé vraiment interessant quand il a été tituliare chez les anglais, c´etait lui qui etait assigné à la récup et ça c´est plutot bien passé. Ceci dit, à 14M£ ça peut priver Sir Alex de son 2eme milieu ainsi qu´un hypothétique nouvel attaquant.

Le probleme pour avoir Hargreaves c´est que pour convaincre le Bayern, il faudra très probablement mettre Ruud dans la balance. Enfin, on a l´air bien parti pour prendre un bon milieu anglais ce qui n´est pas une mauvaise chose.

Ruud, cette saison il a mis 21 buts en championnat pour 35 matches joués dont 28 titulaire.

Alors c´est vrai que sa fin de saison n´est pas formidable mais ça n´efface en rien son talent, il n´y qu´à voir le nombre de grands clubs qui sont prets à le prendre si on s´en sépare.

Avant d´acheter tres cher, autant attendre la fin des proces en Italie, ca me ferait mal qu´on achete un Carrick à 15 millions alors qu´à quelque jours d´intervalle (je sais pas quand se deroule l´appel), on aurait put recuperer un Gattuso.
Au lieu d´acheter "n´importe qui" rapidement soyons patient.

Manchester United agree deal for Torres - Report

Manchester United have agreed a deal with Atletico Madrid for striker Fernando Torres according to reports from Spain. The Spanish striker will join the club for an estimated fee of £24 million.

Torres made his debut for Atlético de Madrid in the Vicente Calderón Stadium on May 27, 2001, against Leganes and he scored his first goal for the club the following week, in a game against Albacete.

In March 2006, the Spanish striker said it was confirmed to him by Atlético chiefs that Newcastle United had made a bid for him, which was subsequently rejected.

At his first ever appearance in a FIFA World Cup Finals match, Torres scored with a spectacular volley helping Spain beat Ukraine. In the second group match Spain rallied from a 0-1 deficit against Tunisia to win 3-1.

Torres scored in the 76th minute for Spain to take the lead 2-1 and then again from a penalty kick in the 90th minute. He was subsequently given a much-needed rest in Spain´s third group match against Saudi Arabia, entering the game only to substitute José Antonio Reyes in the 70th minute.

As Torres walked onto the field the crowd roared with excitement, showing just how popular he is among Spanish fans. Having managed to score 3 goals in the tournament, Torres is one of the leading goal scorers in the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He was also the first player to score 3 goals in the tournament. Ramon Calderon tiendrait-il son premier transfert ? Selon le quotidien espagnol Marca, un accord aurait été trouvé entre la Real Madrid et Van Nistelrooy. Il reste évidemment au Real de trouver un accord avec Manchester United. Peut-être autour de 15 millions d´euros.

Heinze happy at United

Manchester United left back Gabriel Heinze says he has no interest in leaving the Old Trafford club.

The Argentina international pledged his loyalty to The Red Devils after being linked with a return to Spain this summer.

The former Newell´s Old Boys, Real Valladolid, and Paris Saint Germain defender has been linked with a £10 million move to Real Madrid, while fresh reports suggest UEFA Champions League holders Barcelona are also interested in Heinze.

Despite the interest from Spain, the South American talent is keen to repay United and manager Sir Alex Ferguson for supporting him through the serious knee injury that sidelined him for much of last season.

"I´m settled in Manchester and haven´t thought about leaving Old Trafford," Heinze told The Sun.

"I´ve heard about the interest in me from Spain and I´m proud to hear a club like Real Madrid are thinking of me.

"It´s a great compliment and would make any professional happy.

"But United and the coach stood by me when I had a knee injury last season and couldn´t play and, if they want me to continue, that is what I will do."

Le départ de Ruud au Real est annoncé par Marca donc ça reste à confirmer surtout si on ne recrute pas un nouvel attaquant.
Je suis pas convaincu que Fergie lache un buteur tel que Ruud sans le remplacer par quelqu´un de grand talent.

Diarra still open to move

Mahamadou Diarra has reopened the possibility of leaving Lyon after revealing he is upset with coach Gerard Houllier.

The Mali international is among the most coveted midfielders in Europe, with Manchester United and Real Madrid hoping to sign Diarra.

Reports have suggested Real, now under the charge of Fabio Capello, are likely to win any bidding auction for the 25-year-old.

The situation was clouded earlier this week when Houllier claimed that Diarra wanted to stay at Stade Gerland to help Lyon win another French title and the UEFA Champions League.

But the African powerhouse has refuted his manager´s comments, insisting it is not definitive that he will remain with l´OL.

Diarra is unhappy with Houllier for being his mouthpiece and concedes he could secure a transfer before the start of the new season.

"I know the club relies on me and I also rely a lot on the club," said Diarra.

"I didn´t allow anyone to talk in my place.

"Today, I am open to any proposition."

Houllier, though, remains unrepentant and is adamant that the midfielder wants to help Lyon´s quest for further honours.

"Mahamadou Diarra will not leave," he told Le Progres. "He wants to win the league title and the Champions League with us."

Diarra n´est pas contre l´idée de partir mais reste à savoir si on pourra s´aligner sur les demandes de Lyon et si Sir Alex en fait toujours une priorité.
