Milan warn United off Vogel
Milan have rejected Manchester United´s bid to sign Johann Vogel.
As revealed on skysports.com last week United made a move to bring Vogel to Old Trafford as they look to ease their midfield problems.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is desperate to bolster his midfield after losing Paul Scholes for the rest of the season through injury.
Ryan Giggs and John O´Shea have both joined the casualty list at United leaving Ferguson short of options in midfield.
Milan claim United approached them about Vogel´s availability, but they insist they have no plans to let the Swiss international leave.
"It is true United want to take him in the winter transfer window but we are not planning to sell at this time," Milan general manager Ariedo Braida told the News of the World.
"We have an excellent relationship with Sir Alex and the United board but we told them we want to keep Vogel for now.
"I don´t know what might happen in the summer."
