Moi je pense qu´il faut garder Fergie, de toute façon, il doit bien se rendre compte que le milieu est inexistant et que par conséquent, il faut des recrues de niveau international. (au moins Ballack...)

Après, l´attaque n´est pas un problème, même si je ferai jouer Rooney aux côtés de Ruud et non en retrait... De plus, avec le retour de Saha et de Ole Gunnar, je la trouve satisfaisante... Smith devrait par contre être reconverti attaquant car il ne sert à rien si il n´a personne de compétent à ses côtés. (Keano)

La défense quant à elle, n´est pas mal non plus. Ferdinand est dans une mauvaise passe comme toute l´équipe, ils manquent tous de confiance et ont peur de mal faire, pourtant ils ne peuvent pas faire pire... J´ai trouvé Wes très bon contre Lille, Silvestre fait ce qu´il peut, O´Shea n´est pas mauvais et Gary ainsi que Bardsley sont de retour...

Il faut donc tout miser sur une reconstruction totale du milieu de terrain, car le duo Smith-Fletcher est invisible... Pas assez efficace, il ne récupère pas les ballons, aucun pressing, aucune envie, que des fautes... Seuls Rooney et Bardsley se battent dans cette équipe...

Je pense donc qu´il faut laisser le temps à tout le groupe de se remettre en question, de faire peut-être sûrement même des changements, ce qui prendra une année à mon avis... J´espère ne pas me tromper si j´ai confiance en l´avenir de Manchester United

Leeds land Miller

Leeds have snapped up Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller on loan.

Miller has signed a one-month loan deal at the Championship club.

Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has been actively trawling through the transfer market in a bid to bolster his squad and he has agreed a deal to sign Miller.

The Republic of Ireland international is well down the pecking order at United and Sir Alex Ferguson is willing to loan him out.

Miller has struggled to establish himself at United since his controversial move from Celtic two seasons ago and he is believed to have come under fire from United skipper Roy Keane in his infamous banned interview with MUTV earlier this week.

Leeds could make the move permanent if Miller impresses during his time at Elland Road as it appears he does not figure in Ferguson´s long-term plans.

Miller is expected to make his Leeds debut this weekend against Preston.

Red Devils eye Jones recall

Manchester United could be planning to recall midfielder David Jones from his loan spell at Preston.

The Red Devils´ poor recent form, coupled with Liam Miller´s imminent loan switch to Leeds, could persuade Sir Alex Ferguson to bring Jones´ Deepdale adventure to a premature end.

The 21-year-old has been in fine form during his stint with Preston, and North End boss Billy Davies is desperate to keep hold of him.

"David has been excellent. He has shown what a magnificent talent he is since joining us at the start of the season," admired Davies.

"He has settled into the dressing room extremely well and is a first class professional.

"But we haven´t looked at the situation with him at the moment.

"The most important thing is he is playing games for us. Once we get nearer Christmas we will have a look at it.

"But he is certainly a player we admire greatly and a player we would love to see at Preston all season."

Jones joined Preston on a season-long loan, but a clause in the contract would enable Manchester United to summon him back mid-term, an option that is growing increasingly likely.

United´s midfield has come under criticism, and Ferguson, who rates Jones highly, could decide to shake things up by bringing back the youngster, who captained the reserves to four trophies last season.

The recall would be unlikely to occur before December.

qu´est devenu rothen depuis monaco.je me rappelle des matchs qui l´a fait avec monaco ds cette fameuse campagne de ligue des cahampions.depuis son transfert au psg, je sais qu´il a été bléssé, mais après? a t´il rejoué? paske si je me base sur ces performances avec monaco, je pense qu´il fairait un bon milieu gauche a MU, ces centres etaient d´une grande précision et c un peu ce dont on a besoin depuis le depart de beckham.

Rothen est bon mais il a juste le niveau du championnat francais. Je pense pas qu´il ferait une bonne recrue. En plus en milieu offensif on est blinde.

Approché par les Hearts pour le poste d’entraîneur, Ottmar Hitzfeld a poliment refusé.

Alors qu’il a annoncé son retour pour l’an prochain, peut-être du côté de Manchester United, Ottmar Hitzfeld s’est vu proposer le poste d’entraîneur de Heart of Midlothian. L’ancien entraîneur du Bayern a poliment refusé. John Gregory, ancien entraîneur d’Aston Villa, a également refusé le poste.

pour jones je suis content qu´il revienne mais je veux vous rappeler quelque chose quand kieran etait revenu de son pret on avait dit ouais c´est les successeur de giggs et maintenant certain d´entre vous lui crache dessus mais je vous rappel que son poste est aillier gauche et pas arriere gauche (meme si il y a pas beaucoup de chose qui separe ces 2 poste .Alors je pense que certain d´entre vous vont dire il est nul il est transparant pendant les match... (si il joue mal avec l´equipe) et vous lui cracherai dessus commme pour kieran alors ces personnes attention a ce que vous dite

Kieran est un bon joueur, il s´est vite adapté au poste de defenseur gauche quant on a eu besoin, il a fait une bonne pré-saison, idem pour le debut de saison.

Mais comme le reste de l´equipe il a coulé mais c´est clair que je vois pas trop pourquoi certains le critique. Si dans 1 an ou 2 il est toujours au meme niveau, ça nous fera un bon remplaçant ou un type à vendre.

United chase Aurelio

Valencia full back Fabio Aurelio is reportedly a transfer target for Manchester United.

The under-fire Red Devils are aiming to bounce back from a troubled week and have been linked with a move for the Brazilian defender.

With Gabriel Heinze out for the season due to injury, United have struggled to replace the Argentinian´s tenacity at left back.

Neither John O´Shea nor Kieran Richardson have convinced in the role, while Mikael Silvestre played in the position against Lille in midweek.

That has prompted suggestions Sir Alex Ferguson will look to make up for this discrepancy when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Aurelio is out of contract at Valencia at the end of the season and the Che are keen to retain the 26-year-old.

But Aurelio claims he also has an offer from United and is tempted by the prospect of heading to Old Trafford.

"My agent is taking the offer very seriously," Aurelio is quoted in the Daily Mirror.

"United are a great club and any player would want to join them."

The defender´s availability for nothing at the end of the season could allow United to negotiate a cut-price deal with Valencia in January, if Ferguson follows through with his interest.

Ruud backing for Keane

Ruud van Nistelrooy feels Roy Keane should not be castigated for his stinging criticism of sections of Manchester United´s squad.

United´s season has dipped markedly in the last week, with losses to Middlesbrough and Lille leaving The Red Devils in trouble both domestically and in Europe.

On-field problems are mirrored off the field, as an interview with Keane to the club´s television channel, MUTV, reportedly had to be pulled due to its content being overly critical of sections of the squad.

The Irishman is believed to have pulled no punches in the interview, which prompted manager Sir Alex Ferguson to air the tape to the players in a bid to ease the tension.

Keane is unlikely to change his stance and Dutch international van Nistelrooy claims there is no problem with the club´s captain being forthright in his opinions.

"It is good to have people who say what they feel because they care about the club," van Nistelrooy told The Sun.

The Dutch striker is looking for the players to heed Keane´s words and attempt to improve the situation.

"When criticism is there you can be angry about it or think about it and whether it is true or not," he added. "Then you take something from it and use it."

Van Nistelrooy has struggled for goals in recent weeks and he admits to being frustrated by a lack of service.

"This is the most difficult time I can remember at the club," admitted the former PSV Eindhoven man. "We are not playing well.

"When I joined the club I used to get four or five chances in every game.

"There used to be a constant stream of service. Our attacking play used to be great and I enjoyed it. Now it is different.

"The question is, can those days come back? It´s what we all want."
