ds le premier match, jai pu admirer le magnifique steven gerrard tjours egal a lui mm dans son poste de milieu defensif.ce seré trop bo sil il viendrait a mu.
ds lautre rencontre jai pu admirer mamadou diarra, un joueur que je voit progresser a chaque match et qui je pense a dépassé le niveau d´essien depuis quelques temps deja, un autre super milieu defensif pour mu. et enfin, le dernier joueur, lui fut une surprise, tjours au poste de milieu defensif, je ne lavait jamais vu jouer avant, et je fut extremement impressioné par ce joueur au physique monstrueux, c yaya touré. voila pr moi 3 milieux defensif de choix pr manchester.

Moi j´ai surtout admire la superbe defaite de Chelsea ^^

j´éspere que manyoo nous explosera lille demain pour nous mettre en confiance en vue du match du dimanche ....

Ruud to skipper United

Ruud van Nistelrooy has taken on the captain´s armband for Manchester United´s UEFA Champions League tie with Lille.

The Dutch hot shot has been handed the honour for the first time in the absence of several senior United players.

Usual captain Roy Keane is injured, while his understudies, Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, are also out through injury.

Paul Scholes, who has been skipper in recent weeks, is suspended so van Nistelrooy will lead out United at Stade de France.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson´s decision is another sign that Rio Ferdinand, who captained the team on occasions last season, is not yet back in full favour after his protracted contract saga over the summer.

There are also rumours that van Nistelrooy´s appointment as skipper is a sign that the out-of-sorts Ferdinand will be dropped from the team to face Lille, particularly as youngster Jonny Evans has been included in the Champions League squad for the first time.

Meanwhile, United defender John O´Shea is hoping the side can bounce back against Lille, following Saturday´s 4-1 humbling at Middlesbrough.

O´Shea, who is one of the players rumoured to have been heavily chastised by Keane, also admits the team have to be prepared to accept criticism for bad performances.

The Irishman said: "You just have to get on with it, it´s part and parcel of being a player.

"Ever since I have been in the first team there has been so much criticism of certain players in the team.

"When you lose a game like we did, you are going to get criticism and you have to take it on the chin, get on with it and make sure you bounce back.

"Fortunately, we have got a game on Wednesday to put it right and that´s (winning) what we can do to put it right."

Il risque d´y avoir du changement pour ce match.

Artist Gerrard serait peut-etre la meilleure solution pour nous mais il est trop cher et je suis pas sur qu´il ait envie de venir, pour Diarra c´est un peu pareil quant on voit le prix de Essien je crois pas qu´il partira pour une petite somme.
Concernant Touré, c´est vrai qu´il a été plutot pas mal mais ya encore du boulot.

Keane: Changes are needed

Manchester United skipper Roy Keane is seemingly running out of patience with his team-mates after extracts of his withdrawn MUTV interview were revealed.

Keane did not hold back in his criticism of United, following their 4-1 capitulation to Middlesbrough at the weekend.

"There is talk about putting this right in January and bringing players in," Keane told MUTV, according to the Daily Mirror.

"Just because you are paid £120,000-a-week and play well for 20 minutes against Tottenham, you think you are a superstar.

"The younger players have been let down by some of the more experienced ones - they are not leading. There is a shortage of characters.

"It seems to be in this club you have to play badly to be rewarded. Maybe that is what I should do when I come back - play badly."

On the Boro game specifically, he added: "I wasn´t surprised by the result; I had been expecting one like this.

"The players have been asked questions and they are just not coming up with the answers.

"I am sick of having to say it and they are sick of listening to me.

"They have let down the club, the manager, and the fans."

Keane also singled out a number of players following the result at The Riverside Stadium.

On John O´Shea he said: "He´s just strolling around when he should have been busting a gut to get back."

He was particularly scathing about Darren Fletcher and Alan Smith.

"I can´t understand why people in Scotland rave about Darren Fletcher," he said of the young Scot, while on Smith he added: "What is he doing there? He is wandering around as if he is lost. He doesn´t know what he is doing."

Keane demands Man Utd clear-out

Roy Keane´s interview with Manchester United´s TV channel following the loss at Middlesbrough reportedly called for a player clear-out in the new year.
The interview, subsequently withdrawn, also criticised defender Rio Ferdinand.

Keane is quoted as telling MUTV: "Just because you´re paid £120,000-a-week and do well for 20 minutes against Spurs, you think you´re a superstar.

"There´s talk of putting this right in January and bringing players in. We should be doing the opposite."

The 34-year-old, who has been at Old Trafford for 11 years, issued an uncompromising analysis of United´s humiliating 4-1 defeat at The Riverside.

"I wasn´t surprised by the result - I had been expecting one like this," said Keane.

"The players have been asked questions and they are just not coming up with the answers. I am sick of having to say it and they are sick of listening to me.

"They have let down the club, the manager and the fans.

"The younger players have been let down by some of the more experienced ones - they are not leading. There is a shortage of characters.

Nor did the younger players at the club, currently 13 points adrift of Premiership leaders Chelsea, escape Keane´s wrath.

"When they sign the contracts, they think they have made it. They owe it to the manager, the staff and the fans," he said.

"These guys thought getting new contracts was the best day of their careers. They think they have made it. They haven´t.

"The fact that (senior players) are out should be enough incentive for those coming in to play better and give more.

"It is not enough to play well for 20 minutes, it is a 90-minute game.

"You get well rewarded but you have to put the hard work to earn those rewards."

The show was due to be screened on Monday but failed to make it to air, with a report on the club´s academy side shown instead.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson refused to comment on the matter when quizzed ahead of his side´s Champions League clash with Lille at Stade de France.

Keane is currently out of action with a broken bone in a foot.

Moi je pense que Sir Alex est d´accord avec Keano, et que franchement ca a du blesser certains dans leur orgueil ( rio entre autres) ca peut que avoir des effets positifs, ils vont avoir envie de montrer qu´ils sont pas des mercenaires. Apres comme tu dis c´est sur que ca va pas leur donner plus de talent.

Si on doit recruter des jeunes au milieu, on devrait se pencher sur le cas de Joao Moutinho, il joue au Sporting c´est pas un milieu defensif mais vu le rendement de Scholes et Fletcher...

Roy a remis les choses au clair; c´était évident que l´équipe paraissait apathique sur le terrain ! (hormis pour moi Rooney et Bardsley)

Javier Mascherano... il sera en Allemagne à la fin de l´année pour la Coupe du monde, /me knocks on wood, bien sûr. Il se pourrait même qu´il soit titulaire avec la sélection argentine, au poste de milieu défensif, aux côtés de Luis Gonzales. En concurrence sûrement avec les quelques Duscher, Scaloni, Bernardi, Demichelis, Cambiasso, Veron, ...

Certains des propos repris par le Daily Mirror sont effectivement pour le moins directs. Il aurait déclaré "il y a des discussions au sein du club pour faire venir des joueurs en janvier. Je pense que c´est l´inverse qu´il faut faire, se débarasser de certaines personnes". Parmi ses partenaires incriminés, Rio Ferdinand figure en bonne place, "juste parce que vous êtes payés 120 000 livres par semaine et que vous faites vingt bonnes minutes contre Tottenham, vous êtes une superstar". Parmi les autres joueurs visés, il ne comprend pas "pourquoi les gens en Ecosse aiment tant Darren Fletcher" et à propos d´Alan Smith, il conclue enfin : "Qu´est ce qu´il fait là ? Il a l´air complètement perdu, il ne sait pas ce qu´il fait". Keane s´est déclaré lassé de répéter sans cesse les mêmes choses et considère que ces joueurs ont trahi la confiance de l´entraîneur, du club et des supporters.
