Ronnie eyes England
Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho has again expressed an interest in one day plying his trade in The Premiership.
The Barcelona star says that he is currently happy to be playing in La Liga with Frank Rijkaard´s side, but admitted that he could fancy an English move in the future.
"I´m quite happy playing for Barcelona in the Spanish league but I can´t say what might happen in the future," said Ronaldinho.
"But of course the Premiership is one of the world´s greatest leagues and every player wants to play in the best competitions."
The World Player of the Year has been a long-term target for Premiership champions Chelsea, but it was Manchester United who came close to grabbing his signature before he joined Barca from PSG.
The 25-year-old could join any club in the world and he has hinted that Old Trafford would be his preferred destination - saying he turned them down for personal reasons.
"United are one of the best clubs in the world and they have got a lot of quality but I thought I would be happier playing in Barcelona
"I felt that Barcelona would be better for my family because the weather and the language are similar to Brazil.
"I´d wanted to play in the Nou Camp ever since I was a little boy. It is one of the great stadiums of the world."
Il aimerais bien jouer un jour en Angleterre et sa destination préférée serait MU, cherchez l´erreur...
