AILTON TO TALK KLEB ROUND

Besiktas are hoping Ailton can persuade Kleberson to move to Turkey.

Manchester United midfielder Kleberson is being courted by both Besiktas and Celta Vigo as his Old Trafford career nears an end.

The Red Devils rejected an improved offer from Besiktas last week but reports in Turkey claim the clubs have now reached a deal.

The fee has not been divulged but, while Besiktas may have an accord with United, they are struggling to tempt Kleberson to Istanbul.

Kleberson is rumoured not to be keen on moving to Eastern Europe and would prefer a deal with Celta Vigo to bear fruit.

However, Besiktas are refusing to concede defeat in their quest to land Kleberson, who is a top target for coach Riza Calimbay.

Besiktas are now employing recent signing Ailton in the role of go-between in a bid to talk Kleberson into joining the club.

Ailton arrived at the club from Schalke last month and the Turkish outfit hope the presence of a fellow Brazilian will convince Kleberson to sign for Besiktas.

--> chacun son avis, perso les 2 frères valent pas un pet et n´ont rien à foutre dans l´équipe d´angleterre ni à MU d´ailleurs.

Phil Neville a toujours fait son boulot, ni plus ni moins, il a rarement brillé de mille feux mais rarement déçu. Il a connu des matchs sans, mais aussi une belle fin de saison il y a 2/3 ans...Quand à Gary c´est le latéral droit le plus capé de l´histoire du foot anglais, il a réguliérment été élu dans le 11 type de la premier League par les journalistes, c´est un des joueurs avec le plus grand nombre de matchs en C1 nouvelle formule, si ce n´est le premier...Il est souvent impopulaire mais il faut pas le sous-estimer, c´est un latéral de devoir qui mérite largement sa place.

Solskjaer is on verge of comeback

Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be fit for the start of the new season.
Solskjaer, 32, was not expected to be fit until October after having an operation on his knee, which kept him out of the whole of last season.

Boss Alex Ferguson said: " Ole just felt his knee again recently. But it was a different part and now the swelling has gone down.

" He is back in training and he could be fit for the start of the season."

Solskjaer´s return to fitness could be bad news for Michael Owen, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford from Real Madrid.

With the Norwegian striker once again available, Ferguson already has five strikers at his disposal.

faut pas lui cracher dessus mais il navait pas le nivo pour joué a MU

Il a fait de bonnes choses aussi, il y a 3 ans dans un Arsenal-MU gagné par Manchester il avait réussi à tenir Vieira par exemple...Il n´était pas exceptionnel mais il a rendu de bons et loyaux services, à quasiment tous les postes défensifs.

Maintenant si Kleberson part on peut se demander si un milieu va pas arriver, vu que Jones a été prêté. On verra...

Au Real, ils ont virés tous les joueurs qui n´avaient pas le niveau et on voit le résultat, dans chaque equipe il faut des joueurs comme Phil capable de suppléer les titulaires et qui ne se plaignent pas d´etre sur le banc.

Et cela dit, on a gagné la LDC avec Phil et des joueurs comme lui...

Si Kleb part, il reste Miller, Keane, Fortune et meme O´shea alors c´est pas forcé de recruter surtout que je vois pas trop qui on pourrait prendre.

O´shea autant ne pas le compter, l´annee derniere il a ete desastreux en milieu defensif meme si ca reste un bon defenseur.

Reds on Jenas transfer alert

ENGLAND midfielder Jermaine Jenas is preparing to hand in a transfer request at St James´ Park, according to reports - paving the way for a United bid.

The 22-year-old is a cornerstone of the Newcastle midfield but is said to be unhappy at the club.

Newcastle do not want to sell Jenas, capped as an England international since joining United for £5million three years ago, and have placed a £20million value on his head.

However, reports suggest Newcastle will accept a bid of £10million with Arsenal, Manchester United, Middlesbrough and Tottenham mentioned as potential suitors.

Bon jeune Jenas mais j´ai un peu de mal à croire que Newcastle le laisera partir comme ça surtout après avoir prêté Butt.

Ils peuvent mettre un milieu Emre-Parker-Dyer-Bowyer, avec Milner, Faye et N´Zogbia remplaçants.

Mais pour l´instant je les vois pas trop le lacher...

It emerged yesterday that one of United´s favoured agents recently contacted Willy Sagnol´s representatives to discuss the possibility of his moving from Bayern Munich, but not until the start of the 2006-07 season when the defender will be a free agent.

Similarly, they have been putting in place a deal for Bayern´s captain Michael Ballack, who also has only a year of his contract to run. United would rather wait to sign him with the reason for doing so being described within Old Trafford as " saving £8m".

Saha to miss season start

Manchester United´s pre-season preparations have been dealt a blow with the news that Louis Saha´s injury troubles have again come back to haunt the French striker.

The former Fulham man has struggled with a series of injuries during his time at Old Trafford and will now miss the start of the Premiership season after being sidelined for " a number of weeks" after undergoing knee surgery.

After enduring a difficult pre-season, in which he failed to score, Saha has undergone arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

It is a blow to Sir Alex Ferguson although it is highly unlikely that the striker would have been in his plans for the starting line-up.

Ferguson likes to have four forwards to call upon but has been exploring the prospect of reinventing Alan Smith as a midfield ball-winner. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer´s progress in his bid to return from long-term injury is a bonus and United should still have enough cover in the attacking positions.

Nevertheless, the sale of Phil Neville to Everton has increased speculation that United may have one more signing up their sleeve before the transfer deadline at the end of August, although a midfielder would seem more of a priority than a striker at the moment.
