New Kleb bid rejected
Manchester United have rejected an increased offer from Besiktas for Brazilian midfielder Kleberson.
The out-of-favour schemer had earlier been the subject of a failed £2 million bid from the Turkish giants and their latest offer has also fallen on deaf ears.
Kleberson, also a target of Celta Vigo, has struggled to ever establish himself at Old Trafford since a £6 million move from Atletico Paranaense two years ago.
The 26-year-old has made just 30 appearances in two seasons beset by injuries but Sir Alex Ferguson is loathe to make a major loss on the player.
Ferguson believes the player still has something to offer and should they not receive a suitable bid, the World Cup winner looks likely to start the new campaign in England.
" There have been offers even while we have been here," said Ferguson.
" We had another, improved offer from Besiktas yesterday but at the moment we know his value.
" He is a very good player, an excellent footballer and he is wanting first-team football so we´re prepared to listen to some offers."
>> Je me demande si on va réussir à le vendre, Kleb.

Man Utd linked with move for Owen
Manchester United are set to make an £11m move for England striker Michael Owen, according to reports.
Owen has been pushed down the pecking order at Spanish club Real Madrid following the arrival of Brazilians Robinho and Julio Baptista.
And Sunday´s newspapers suggest United boss Sir Alex Ferguson leads the race to bring Owen back to the Premiership.
Owen´s former club Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle have also been linked with the 25-year-old forward.
Despite scoring 16 goals in his first season at Real following his move from Liverpool, Owen spent many games on the bench.
And with the World Cup less than a year away, he could decide to move on rather than face the prospect of fighting for a place with Raul, Ronaldo, Robinho and Baptista.
According to the Sunday Times newspaper, Real will not stand in his way if he asks for a move.
A transfer to Manchester United would bring Owen together with his England strike partner Wayne Rooney, although it would prove unpopular with Liverpool fans.
Ferguson might have to sell players to finance the move, with midfielders Phil Neville and Kleberson possible candidates along with striker Louis Saha.
Arsenal could also be tempted to move for him, having seen Baptista taken from under their noses by Real after coming close to sealing a £14m move.
The £7m arrival of Peter Crouch at Liverpool makes it unlikely manager Rafael Benitez would consider taking Owen back to Merseyside.
Newcastle are in the market for a striker, but they cannot offer Owen Champions League football.

Foot - Transferts : Saha vers Monaco ?

Fergie has money to spend
David Gill has revealed Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has money available to raid the transfer market, fuelling suggestions that the Scot could make a big name signing this summer.
Fears had been raised that the takeover by American tycoon Malcolm Glazer would see the purse strings tightened at Old Trafford, but chief executive Gill has countered this claim.
Gill says the transfer kitty is sizeable and that Ferguson has the green light to bring in a big name if he feels the squad can be strengthened as a result.
Widespread reports are suggesting Real Madrid star Michael Owen is the player on Ferguson´s wish list, with the England striker rumoured to be on his way out of El Santiago Bernabeu.
However, reports in France are suggesting The Red Devils are ready to rival Chelsea for the signature of Lyon´s coveted midfielder Michael Essien.
Chelsea have failed to agree a deal with Lyon and the French champions´ chairman Jean-Michel Aulas declared on Sunday that Manchester United were showing an interest.
Gill refused to be drawn on potential targets, but confirmed Ferguson has the chequebook at the ready.
" The money is there for Alex," said Gill.
" If he identifies a talent that he thinks will improve the squad - and that is the crucial thing - the funds are available.
" The Glazers have said that if there is a big player out there who is available, then the money is there to go for him.
" We can still afford a lot of money for top players and at the same time, we are also able to develop many of our own."
The stuttering pre-season form of Ruud van Nistelrooy has fuelled suggestions that Ferguson could move for Owen and the speedy marksman would add a new dimension to the Old Trafford attack, but the Scot may have more pressing needs.
He has failed to find a long-term replacement for talisman Roy Keane and Essien is in the mould of the no-nonsense Irishman.
It is debateable whether United have the financial muscle to go into a straight fight with Chelsea for the midfielder, but a decent opening gambit could see Aulas enter into negotiations in a bid to end the long-running saga.
