Complètement en dessous de tout hier soir ! J´étais complètement dépité mais pas triste car après tout MU ne méritait pas de gagner hier, Chelsea a bien mieux joué dans l´ensemble. Le 3ème but y´a hors-jeu c vrai mais quelle importance ? Et puis 3-1 reflète mieux la perf de Chelsea et de se prendre une telle gifle va peut-etre aboutir à quelques changements INDISPENSABLES dans l´équipe...

Les supporters ont bien montré leur sentiment aux joueurs à la fin, un tour d´honneur dans un stade vide, c bien triste pour une équipe comme Manchester.

C sur qu´il faudra faire de gros changements sinon on risque de vivre encore ds saison comme celle ci

Rio for Real rumours start

Speculation has started in Spain suggesting that Real Madrid are closely monitoring Rio Ferdinand´s contract negotiations at Manchester United.

Perhaps inevitably, the capital club have emerged as possible suitors for the England centre back, even though Ferdinand has consistently maintained that he will sign a fresh deal at Old Trafford.

The delay in penning the contract offered to
Ferdinand has led to unrest from a large section of supporters, who have even jeered the 26-year-old defender as United´s Premiership season draws to a disappointing close.

Real president Florentino Perez has a real penchant for England players having snared David Beckham, Michael Owen and Jonathan Woodgate with the Bernabeu club´s supporters voting for Frank Lampard as the Premiership star they would most like to sign.

Woodgate, of course, has not played for Real since moving from Newcastle United and his injury problems have concerned Perez. With Walter Samuel also not living up to his star billing, a central defender is believed to be on Los Merengues´ summer hit-list.

Spanish newspaper Sport claims negotiations were initiated between representatives from both clubs on Tuesday, although this would seem unlikely given United´s stance that they expect Ferdinand to sign the contract he has been offered, even before the FA Cup final with Arsenal.

Nevertheless, the whispers from Madrid will cause some consternation at Old Trafford unless Ferdinand, who has put the delay in signing down to his agent Pini Zahavi being out of the country, does finally end all of the speculation by putting pen-to-paper.

Chelsea have strongly denied they want to sign the ex-West Ham star following revelations that chief executive Peter Kenyon met with the player at a London restaurant.

Zahavi, for his part, stated recently that his client has a long-standing ambition to play abroad.

" If he doesn´t sign a new deal he will leave in two years to play abroad, which has always been one of his ambitions," Zahavi affirmed.

" But I think he will stay, providing the conditions are right."

Dong to make United bow

Dong Fangzhuo is set to don the Manchester United shirt for the first time this summer after being included in the club´s squad to the Far East.

The 20-year-old Chinese midfielder is currently on loan to feeder club Royal Antwerp in Belgium and is yet to feature under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Work permit regulations prevent Dong from featuring in The Premiership, however he is free to participate in United´s four-match Asian tour.

" I am absolutely thrilled to be able to put on the famous red shirt in my home country," said Dong to the club´s official website.

" It will be a proud moment to play in China as a Manchester United player."

United´s director of marketing Peter Draper has denied Dong´s participation is not just a publicity stunt to boost attendances on the trip.

" Dong has been progressing step-by-step since his arrival at Royal Antwerp," he said. " He deserves the tour and we believe he will perform well.

" A lot of Chinese fans have heard of Dong and know exactly what he is capable of. His inclusion on the team will definitely add to the excitement for Chinese fans."

Meanwhile, Ferguson wants his charges to hit the ground running next season in a bid to maintain parity with the leading pack.

The Scot feels the title was lost early on this term and does not want to drop any points in the early stages next time around.

" The important thing is for us to improve and learn from the early-season attack," said Ferguson.

" We made a bad start this season and that´s where we lost the league. Next season the players are going to start much earlier.

" The league is a marathon, not a sprint. But now I have to question that kind of thinking because this season Chelsea turned it into a sprint from start to finish."

Manchester United are chasing Porto midfield ace Maniche.

The Times says Sir Alex Ferguson, the United manager, will face stiff competition for the Portugal playmaker´s services from Dynamo Moscow.

Their wealthy owner, Alexei Fedorychev has pumped more than £100 million into Dynamo since taking over last year and has said that he is ready to part with an eight-figure sum to sign Maniche and Costinha, his Porto and Portugal team-mate.
