Smith content at United
Alan Smith has been linked with a move to Aston Villa but the player´s representative insists he is content at Manchester United.
The England international has been sidelined of late with an ankle injury but nevertheless reportedly tops the wish-list of both Villa and Newcastle.
Smith has established himself as a firm favourite with the Old Trafford faithful but has found opportunities limited due to the form of Wayne Rooney and the return to fitness of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
However, agent Colin Gibson, who is part of Smith´s management group, has told skysports.com that his client is more than content with life in Manchester.
´´I don´t know anything about that,´´ Gibson told skysports.com when quizzed on a potential move.
´´Alan is more than content and it is just unfortunate that he has been injured of late.
´´At a great club like United you have to bide your time for a place.´´
Meanwhile, team-mate and fellow striker Louis Saha has stepped up his own rehabilitation from injury by appearing for the club´s second string on Wednesday evening.
