Ruud: This is my moment
Ruud van Nistelrooy believes a goal against AC Milan tonight will be the most important of his career. Manchester United´s prolific striker will make his first European start since being ruled out for three months with injury and is desperate to make up for lost time. Van Nistelrooy, who has scored an incredible 36 goals in 38 Champions League appearances for United, knows his team-mates and boss Sir Alex Ferguson are looking to him for the goal to get United back in the tie. He said: " The goals I´ve scored are in the past, they´ve gone. It´s all about producing now. This will be the moment that counts. It would be my biggest goal if I could score against Milan, without a doubt."

Biggest fight of our lives
Alex Ferguson has told his stars: Get ready for the biggest game of your lives. Boss Ferguson is convinced that if Manchester United can overcome AC Milan at the San Siro tonight they will go on to win another European Cup. Ferguson said: “The players have to be aware that this is the major game of all time for them. It is the hardest game any team of mine has had to face, given Milan’s record and history. There is a chance to win another European Cup this year. Whoever wins this tie can go on and do that."
