Howard ready for fight
Tim Howard has insisted that he has no intention of seeking an exit from Manchester United before he has proved he is capable of becoming indisputable first-choice keeper.
Howard has found high-profile errors marring his season at Old Trafford - and is currently behind Roy Carroll in the pecking order at the club.
However, the USA international believes that he must fight for recognition, and will not seek a lesser challenge.
" I am frustrated that I am not playing," he admitted on MUTV.
" If you are not playing and you are enjoying it, there is something wrong with you.
" I suppose it would be easy to leave, but that would be cowardice.
" If you continue to pick your bags up and leave every time something doesn´t go your way in life, it is not going to be fun.
" In terms of staying and fighting for my place, it is easy - I am going to fight. I enjoy the challenge of improving and doing well and I plan on staying."
Howard admits that his relationship with Carroll and third choice Ricardo can be difficult at times because of the competition to be first choice.
" There is an intensity between the three of us," he said.
" Some days, we are not the best of friends, but it is a working relationship and it is enjoyable.
" The nervousness and anxiety you feel in your first year of doing anything is so healthy because it really keeps you on your toes.
" Unfortunately, you can´t manufacture it, so it is natural to have an automatic let down in your second year.
" You often see situations where players find it difficult to reproduce their form in the second season, but that is where experience comes in. I am confident my better days are ahead of me."

Fletcher injury rocks Scots plans
Manchester United´s Darren Fletcher will miss Scotland´s vital World Cup qualifier against Italy after suffering a knee injury in the Manchester derby.
The 21-year-old midfielder will be out for up to two months, which also rules him out of his club´s return to Champions League action next week.
" It´s bad news for us and for Scotland and coach Walter Smith," United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told The Scotsman.
" He´s out for a minimum of seven weeks but it could be out longer."
Scotland face Italy in Milan on 26 March in what will be Walter Smith´s first match in charge of the team.
They are already second-bottom of Group Five with two points from three games, seven points behind group leaders Italy.

Keano´s backing British
Roy Keane reckons British is still best despite Arsene Wenger´s foreign invasion. Keane is convinced Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard are the envy of the biggest clubs on the continent - although he admits Chelsea-target Gerrard could be even better in a winning team. Keane said: " They are consistent in what they bring to their teams. I´m talking about players in general, not just English players. To me they are the most outstanding midfielders, maybe not just in England but probably in Europe."
George Scott, Daily Star
Stevie can´t do it all alone, says Keane
Roy Keane believes Steven Gerrard is shouldering an ´unfair´ burden of trying to restore Liverpool to their former glories. He said: " It´s a lot of pressure for one player, when you think Liverpool are a big club. It is a bit unfair on him at times. When he is not playing particularly well then the team seems to suffer, whereas I am in a team where, especially at the moment, I have two lads on either side of me who can do a lot of running for me. He is an outstanding player and has had enough compliments over the years, but it helps when you are on a winning team and Liverpool probably aren´t playing as well as they can."

Rossi Included In Euro Squad
Giuseppe Rossi has taken Eric Djemba-Djemba´s place in United´s 25-man Champions League squad. The 17-year-old United forward has been in fine form for the Reserves following his summer move from Parma. Djemba-Djemba´s departure to Aston Villa during the January transfer window has created space for the dimunitive attacker, who has created a buzz at Old Trafford with the some terrific solo goals and his impressive passing and intelligent movement. He made his United debut - his only first-team appearance to date - in the 2-0 Carling Cup win over Crystal Palace back in November. Rossi has dual nationality; born in America, he holds an Italian passport.

On verra bien.
erf a non on vire pas kleberson^^
