Fergie rules out Saha move
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has quashed any notion of Paris Saint Germain signing Louis Saha on loan.
PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic is chasing a striker during the January transfer window and had targeted Saha.
Halilhodzic claimed he was looking to bring in the France international on a temporary basis until the end of the season, due to the lack of financial resources at PSG.
But Red Devils manager Ferguson has laughed off PSG´s desire, insisting Saha, who is currently injured, has a future at Old Trafford.
" I read the quote from the PSG coach that they have no money and that we would have to pay his wages," said Ferguson.
" That would be very nice for them, wouldn´t it?
" There is absolutely no chance of that happening.
" Louis will start back with us in the New Year and is an important part of our plans."
Meanwhile, Ferguson admits he is disappointed that Saha´s attacking cohort Ruud van Nistelrooy did not inform him he was injured.
Van Nistelrooy is struggling with a calf problem, which Ferguson feels the Dutch hot shot has been carrying for several weeks.
Ferguson, though, has only recently learned of the injury and is upset that van Nistelrooy did not tell the club of the problem immediately.
He added: " He never told us he had an injury but played one or two games with it and we had to keep taking him off.
" We think he did it four or five weeks ago, maybe during an international break, but the worry is that it has not gone away.
" You have to be careful with calf injuries because they can be a nightmare and creep down to the Achilles area.
" If you don´t get to the root of it and clear it up completely it can keep resurfacing, as has happened with Ruud."
