" Reds up for awards"
Ruud van Nistelrooy and Paul Scholes are among the nominees for the PFA Players´ Player of the Year award.
The United stars have scored 28 Premiership goals between them this season, and join Thierry Henry, James Beattie, Alan Shearer and Gianfranco Zola in the running for the annual award, voted for by professional players from all divisions.
John O´Shea has been nominated for the Young Player of the Year award, meanwhile, but faces tough competition from wonderkid Wayne Rooney. The Everton youngster has only started a handful of club matches - compared to John´s 48 appearances for United this season - but has the media attention that could win him the award.
Craig Bellamy, Jermain Defoe, Jermaine Jenas and Scott Parker are the other nominees for the award.
Best of luck, lads!
