Ferguson moves in for Hargreaves

Sir Alex Ferguson has made a personal inquiry to Bayern Munich about the availability of Owen Hargreaves. Ferguson is aware that the England fringe player, who is out of contract in 18 months, wants to play in the Premiership.
Although United have not made what constitutes an official approach, Ferguson has spoken directly to the Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge as well as the director Uli Hoeness. The Bundesliga club would be reluctant to lose one of their most reliable players but they are aware of the 23-year-old midfielder´s ´s willingness to join an English club and will not stand in his way, provided a fee can be agreed.

Ferguson is under pressure to sell players before bringing anyone else in, although it is understood the United board will be flexible. The club will try to offload Kleberson in January as it has become increasingly obvious that the £5.9m Brazilian World Cup winner will go down as one of Ferguson´s more expensive mistakes in the transfer market.

United will also make Eric Djemba-Djemba available for transfer and, having sold Nicky Butt to Newcastle, Ferguson is looking for a defensive midfielder who could eventually succeed Roy Keane.

Hargreaves, who can also play as full-back or in a wide midfield role, has all the necessary attributes even if he has seen other players move ahead of him in terms of playing for the national team. His weekly salary in Munich is around £45,000, which was a major factor in the collapse of his proposed move to Tottenham earlier this year.

Ca veut dire quoi, que Ferguie veut acheter Hargreaves. Si oui, svp qui peut me dire c´est quoi son poste et on l´aura quand.

Heargraves est 1 milieu defensif qui peut jouer n´importe où par contre je ne sais pas quand est-ce que fergie veut le prendre.

Si liverpool,tottenham et newcastle ne perdent pas on aura fait 1 bonne opération au classement.

Moi j´espere surtout que arsenal perdra contre liverpool histoire qu´on reste a 4 point d´eux parce que je pense que chelsea si il continue comme ca ils seront chanpion, everton ne tiendra pas toutes la saison comme ca donc on passera surement devant eux et donc je pense qu´on a les capacite pour passer devant arsenal et finir 2 eme et je pense que se serait deja pas mal du tout.

En toute objectivité on a des chances de terminer dans les 3 premiers. Everton a de la qualité, mais seulement 23 joueurs pro, donc ils auront du mal à tenir comme ça toute la saison.

Chelsea est au-dessus pour le moment, mais Arsenal va un peu moins bien c´est vrai...C´est une année de transition de plus pour nous, donc le principal est d´accrocher la C1 et gagner un titre ( pourquoi pas la League Cup ? ), en améliorant encore l´effectif.

Comme je l´ai dit hier, ce ne sont que des rumeurs mais certains départs se précisent: Carroll ( fin de contrat), Djordic ( fin de contrat), Ricardo ( Espagne), Kleberson ( Roma, Espagne), Djemba ( ?), O´Shea ( Newcastle).
