=>Si il y a 1 milieu comme sa a manchester c qu´on sera vraiment tombé bien bas.Même si giggs est à la traîne totale il faut quand même le garder.

Comme par hasard le match de mu n´est pas diffuser et à la place c´est le match de monaco qui est retransmis.

L´an dernier, je lui ai demandé s´il voulait faire du foot, il m´a dit oui. Alors je l´ai inscrit. Ensuite, il n´arrêtait pas de marquer des buts. Mais honnêtement, je ne sais pas d´où vient son talent. Moi, je n´ai jamais été capable de taper dans un ballon de foot. Je ne faisais que du rugby ! Comment se sont passés les contacts avec MU ? Les dirigeants de Manchester United sont venus à la maison, nous avons discuté. Ensuite, il s´est entraîné trois fois avec eux l´an dernier. Puis après une pause, ils m´ont de nouveau appelé il y a un mois pour qu´il retourne jouer avec eux. Il a fait deux matchs amicaux, et il a marqué sept buts ! Que va-t-il arriver à présent ? Je sais qu´il a de grosses qualités : il est rapide, très bon techniquement, mais je veux juste qu´il continue à prendre du plaisir en jouant au foot. Lui, il ne rêve que de Manchester United, même s´il n´a pas encore le droit de signer pour eux. Il dit qu´il veut devenir professionnel pour avoir une belle voiture et nous acheter une belle maison. On verra...

C´est un truc de fou, c´est peut etre notre nouveau Giggs ?

Sir Alex Ferguson admits he is disappointed that Manchester United have pocketed the UEFA Champions League title only once.

The long-serving Scot celebrates his 1,000th game on the Old Trafford throne on Tuesday evening, when United entertain Lyon in the Champions League.

But, looking back on his imperious reign, Ferguson laments the fact that The Red Devils only have the 1999 triumph in the competition to cherish, in addition to their 1968 European Cup glory.

He feels, for a club of United´s stature, that there is no reason why they have not matched the likes of Milan, Juventus and Bayern Munich in terms of their European successes.

" The history of this club means that we should be expecting to win the Champions League more than once," said Ferguson.

" We should expect to win it the same number of times as Bayern Munich, Ajax and the Milan clubs.

" I divorce Real Madrid from this simply because the number of times they have won it is quite exceptional.

" But certainly in terms of the other superpowers in Europe, there is no reason to think that we should not compete on those terms. That is what I want.

" It is difficult to win it once, I accept that but you have to keep aiming for it."

United have been a regular presence in the latter stages of the Champions League over the past decade but their only final appearance reaped the title against Bayern in 1999.

The team have tripped up in the semi-finals and Ferguson believes that, with a little more fortune, The Red Devils could have added to their European haul.

He added: " Yes, we have disappointed at the later stages on some occasions but we have also been very unlucky on others.

" We felt we were very unlucky to go out on away goals in the semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen two years ago.

" And the 1997 semi-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund was a travesty of a result given the chances we had that night.

" But that game at least gave us a taste of the prospect of winning the trophy because we went so close."

RUUD van Nistelrooy is chasing legends and could force his way to the top of the European scoring charts this season.

The Old Trafford ace seems unstoppable, relentlessly ripping through the record books and Ryan Giggs believes his Manchester United team mate is on his way to Europe´s pinnacle.

As United push for a place in the first knock-out phase of the Champions League against group leaders Olympique Lyon at Old Trafford on Tuesday, van Nistelrooy is edging ever closer to becoming the best all-time scorer in Europe´s top competition.

The Dutch ace has left all his Manchester United predecessors trailing, smashing virtually every club scoring record since moving from PSV Eindhoven three years ago, and goes into the Lyon clash with only three players between him and Europe´s top spot.

" Ruud´s statistics in the Champions League are frightening really when you consider that he is coming up against Europe´s top defenders, the top defenders in each league in different countries and consistently over the past four or five years he has scored goals," says Giggs.

Van Nistelrooy swept past Denis Law´s 35-year-old club record in September when he rescued the Reds by scoring both goals in the 2-2 draw with Lyon in France to become the first Old Trafford player to score 30 goals in Europe.

Since then more legendary names have been left in his wake.

He has overtaken Hungarian genius Ferenc Puskas who scored 36 times for

Honved and Real Madrid half a century ago, and 37 goal German ace Gerd Muller the World Cup striker who helped Bayern Munich win the trophy in three consecutive seasons during the 1970s.

Van Nistelrooy´s four goals against Sparta Prague in United´s last Champions League outing took his personal tally to 43, eight scored during his days with PSV and an impressive 35 from 36 appearances with the Reds.

It also put him within reach of Eusebio, Sixties hero of Portugal and Benfica and it now looks like being a battle between van Nistelrooy and Real Madrid´s Raul to see who can set new standards.

Raul took his overall total to 48 thanks to three goals this season and is just one behind all-time best Alfredo di Stefano the Argentinean who masterminded Madrid´s domination of the European Cup in its early years. Van

Nistelrooy needs another four-goal flurry to put the pressure on the Spaniard and will be hoping to get on the score sheet against Lyon.

Foot - ANG : Wenger conteste l´accusation

Le manageur d´Arsenal, Arsène Wenger, conteste l´accusation de mauvaise conduite dont il fait l´objet concernant le match perdu à Manchester United ( 2-0) le 24 octobre. Le technicien français a demandé à être entendu par la Fédération anglaise. Les faits reprochés : avoir traité Ruud van Nisterooy de tricheur et avoir également tenus des propos très critiques envers l´arbitre du match, Mike Riley. Wenger risque une amende et un blâme.

saint wenger n´a rien fait, c´est à cause de ruud tout ça.
