Celtic Goalkeeper Linked to Old Trafford
Highly-rated Glasgow Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall has been linked with a move to Old Trafford following Tim Howard´s run of terrible form.
USA international goalkeeper Howard has put himself under growing pressure after pulling off some costly goalkeeping blunders that have dropped the Red Devils points in the Premiership and Champions League, and Sir Alex Ferguson deems Marshall as a fine replacement.
Old Trafford boss Ferguson seems to be reluctant to give Roy Carroll a deserved chance in-between the sticks and may venture for Marshall.
United have tried to land Marshall in the past, making a name for himself a few months ago with a breathtaking display against Barcelona in the Uefa Cup for the Hoops, but failed and landed midfielder Liam Miller instead.
Norwich goalkeeper Robert Green is also a possible goalkeeping replacement.
According to an on-going poll conducted by ManUtdWeb, 28% of you would like to see a new ´keeper at Old Trafford whilst 41% say to give Carroll a chance. 25% say stick with Howard whilst 6% say to give Spaniard Ricardo a chance.
Et la rumeur dit que Duff serait à vendre au mercato d´hiver, on verra.
