NEVILLE READY FOR TOUGHEST CHALLENGE

Manchester United defender Gary Neville has admitted that regaining The Premiership title this season will pose the biggest challenge The Red Devils have ever faced.
Neville, who recently signed a new five-year deal at Old Trafford, believes the competition to win the title is getting harder every year.

United languished 15 points behind champions Arsenal last term and the Old Trafford side are probably third favourites for the championship this season behind Arsenal and big spending Chelsea.

" This season is going to be the biggest challenge of all time for Manchester United," said Neville.

" Other teams are getting stronger and they have all spent money on new players during the summer.

" We were very disappointed to finish third last season and that´s why the manager has brought new players in.

" But we all know that it´s going to be a massive challenge for us to come out on top again this year.

" We are not afraid of that, though. What lies ahead excites me as much as anything I have experienced at United.

" The club is looking to improve all the time and we have to keep winning trophies."

Meanwhile, American tycoon Malcolm Glazer is reportedly ready to plan a takeover of United.

Reports suggest Glazer is in talks with banks to raise funds to prepare a bid for United.

Glazer already has a 19 percent stake in the club and although he has previously denied he had plans to mount a takeover bid speculation is growing that he wants to up his stake in the English giants.

mark palios de la FA a demissionné il l´aurait fait 8 mois plus tot et rio n´aurait peut-etre pas été suspendu...

j´ai vu ça il va rejouer en meme que fletcher d´après fergie.
on va peut-etre finir par avoir une equipe au complet en janvier après le retour de nos 2 olympiens.

HAMMERS SET TO SIGN CHADWICK

Manchester United winger Luke Chadwick is set to join West Ham United on a one-year contract after five years with the Old Trafford outfit.
The 23-year-old has worked with Hammers manager Alan Pardew before, having played under him while on loan at Reading.

Chadwick is undergoing a medical with the Upton Park outfit on Monday and is expected to put pen-to-paper on a 12-month deal with the East London side.

The Cambridge-born wide man made just 11 starts and 14 substitute appearances for United during his time with The Red Devils.

Chadwick had two loan spells at the end of the 2003 season with The Royals while he appeared 36 times for Burnley on loan at Turf Moor last term.

On va avoir l´équipe au complet la semaine prochaine sauf : Heinze, Cristiano, Ole Gunnar et Rio voire d´éventuels blessés.

Rio revient en septembre,Ole Gunnar aussi à priori, pour les deux autres ça dépend s´ils vont loin aux J.O. Mais ce sera octobre maximum...

manque plus que rooney. ^^
