Man Utd select strong side
Scholes could return for United´s last tour match
Sir Alex Ferguson will name a strong side for Manchester United´s final Champions´ Series game against AC Milan in New Jersey on Saturday.
Paul Scholes and Mikael Silvestre are likely to play their first games in the Series after resting since playing at Euro 2004.
Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Alan Smith and Gary and Phil Neville could also play.
When they come home, United have two games in a pre-season tournament before the Community Shield versus Arsenal.
Meanwhile, United youngster Chris Eagles has apologised to Celtic´s Alan Thompson for his challenge that saw Thompson stretchered off in their Champions Series´ match.
" I went into the dressing room to make sure he was okay. He seems to be fine and he has just had a few stitches," said the 18-year-old, who is tipped to break into the United first team this season.
" I was just excited because I have come up from the reserves and I was just recently playing for the under-18s.
" You don´t think about things because the adrenalin was pumping. If I had pulled out then people would have said I was too soft."
