Snorefest.

Spector stood out; for an 18 year old, he looked very solid and composed. Bardsley had the best scoring chance, a 30 yard effort on goal at the end of the first half. Keane was in the back four so he didn´t have his normal influence on the match. Djordic was ok. Eagles looks promising. Richardson was ok. Smith was the best player on the pitch for United. Djemba was probably second best and controlled midfield.

Bellion is complete shit. This was a horrible match from him, the worst I´ve ever seen from him and he´s had some pathetic performances.

He did - the lad is a natural footballer!

McShane did well too.

Eagles showed some excellent footwork, but is still too much of a lightweight.

Richardson played well in the second half, when he started running at the defenders.

Bardsley did ok, nothing spectacular.

Djemba had a good match, especially 2nd half.

Djordic was quiet.

Smith was excellent, held the ball up really well. Didn´t get to any chances though.

Bellion showed lots of pace, but is rubbish on the ball and his decision making.

Keano had a good game in the centre of the back three.

Rossoneri deny Rui Costa has signed Old Trafford deal

AC Milan firmly denied on Monday that their Portuguese midfielder Rui Costa had signed a two-year contract with Manchester United.

A report in the Portuguese press claimed that the player had agreed to join United but the Italian champions say he will play for the Rossoneri next season.

AC Milan´s sporting director Ariedo Braida said: " It´s nonsense. Rui Costa is staying at Milan and he is non-transferable.´´

Rui Costa, 32, is in the latter stages of his career and last season lost his starting place at San Siro to Kaka, the talented youngster from Brazil.

Rui Costa played for the Portuguese at Euro 2004 and did have his moments of brilliance, including a wonder strike from outside the area in their quarter-final win over England.

He made his name at Benfica in a three-year spell from 1991-1994, and then moved to Fiorentina where he spent seven seasons.

The last three years of his career have been in Milan, where he has won titles in both Italy and Europe
